Don’t forget the French Vanilla creamer and toe warmers. LOL OK, I actually do recommend the toe warmers… Those asses and deadbeats (why is it the same people that have a problem with people on welfare are always the people looking for a handout, especially when they don’t need one?) have no idea what it is to serve one’s country. As for me, 1988-1992 Air Force (Security Police, not afraid of weapons, just those that treat them as toys(just search for the dumb… that killed his girlfriends toddler in Indiana, go figure, not long ago, with a real gun, when the kid was playing with a toy gun.)), when military wasn’t cool. Yeah, I’m a Republican’s nightmare, Veteran, Union, and Female, owned currently by a Giantshetlandpony and well, Guy, long story, but Flynn was my first love, in the present it’s my Zen is who you see as my Avatar . Yeah, it’s a horse thing. BTW, I really am who I am, as at my age it would be way too tiring to pretend to be someone other than that.

If they want to clear the crazies out of that Oregon refuge, they should turn it over to Fish and Wildlife and the Forest Service. Use one of those giant crane tanker helicopters that are used to fight forest fires, load it up with nice, cold water, and bomb the building. Let it freeze. Repeat.

How ironic…the name of the refuge is Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. “Malheur” is french for “misfortune”…

It’s interesting how the media (including comic strips) believe that the only group that doesn’t have the right to protest are white conservatives.

    That would work quickly!

Or what if they just turned off the electricity and locked the gate, instead of letting the deadbeats make beer and chips runs into town? I bet if they did that, most of the freeloaders would leave before Superbowl Sunday!

Why they first went there was a ruse. While I agree that the two men shouldn’t have gone back to prison (It was the Judges sentencing error, not clerical or programming. They served their time as ordered by the court) they just want to abuse the privilege of using land that belongs to us all. This is what happens when people think only for the present and have no idea how their actions will affect the future. Their style of ranching may work for them, but they are destroying the land for their grandchildren.

Forgot to add that I oppose the NRA in all matters and DO NOT agree with the new open carry law in Texas and other states. The open carry of pistols was illegal in Texas from the 1870s.

Protesting tyranny may be illegal, but it is rarely unethical. However, it pays to have your facts straight before engaging in such a protest. The guys in Oregon are protesting the federal government dispossessing them of their land rights, while ignoring that those lands were forcibly taken from even earlier owners. I’d actually consider supporting them if they were protesting to have the land returned to the Paiutes.

By the way, I’m retired AF (1977-1999), Gulf War vet, conservative but fully supportive of negative rights (those rights that you have that nobody else has to pay for.) I like horses, but don’t have the time or discretionary funds to own one. I hunt, shoot, used to do martial arts, and currently fence; so Barry and Hillary don’t have any love for the likes of me.

The grazing fee is $l.69 per large animal per month. That’s cheaper than feeding a cat, and cats don’t turn a profit. I don’t think they have much to protest about.

Wiley; difficult to show that pocket copy of the Constitution he always carries, but has NEVER READ. Interesting also that these guys aren’t really cowboys, and those that are, are on the government dole with grazing so cheap.

Protesters with guns, like in San Bernardino, end up poorly if not angry white guys. Ship these guys, with their guns, to Bolivia and let ’em play “Butch and Sundance” with the locals.

    Good job, Wiley.

One of the reasons the feds haven’t just gone in and kicked these cowards out is they are using their families, especially their children, as human shields. Much as they did last time. That said, yeah, I don’t get why they are allowed to come and go as they please, damage and steal government property. Not to mention racking up a hell of a tax bill for hotels, per diem food costs, rented vehicles, and overtime for the feds that are camped out in that town, that we will all be paying for in our taxes. I can only hope the government is going to send them all one hell of a bill for this nonsense and charge them with child endangerment. Not too hopeful as Bundy still owes us money from grazing on our lands that started their first tantrum. Free loaders, squatters, that’s what these guys represent.

BTW for the morons at Malheur, even these toy “militia guys” have the problem of their supposed Marine vet put out front, was never in the military, like almost all chickenhawks.

BTW also: Viet Nam ‘66-67, and spent 32 years dealing with many responsible ranchers, and sadly more than a few idiots like the Bundys. (Yes, in Arizona and Nevada where these guys have destroyed the most public land on the cheap.) I’ve also faced them down out on the range with their firearms, and ended things peaceably. What the Bundys want is another Waco, but they are the Jim Jones, not about to drink their own Kool Aid, with their backers being the dead martyrs.

I was kinda on their side until they asked for Vanilla Coffee Creamer….then they lost me.Not a big fan of the BLM, I lived in NW Las Vegas smack up against it, but what those guys are doing has now gone beyond their original purpose and is deep in no no land.I now wish they would just pack up and go away, we have more pressing issues for the media than a bunch of cowboys, excuse wannabe cowboys “takin’ a stand”

@Robert Landers I agree, they are breaking the law. My point is that the media probably wouldn’t freak out if the group were anything but older white conservatives. I doubt Wiley Miller would create a parody of any other type of protesters. I folks want equality, then they have to treat everyone the same.
