Maybe a little Placeberall to help her concentrate.

After whose practice? Won’t they both already be there? I went to an all-boys school, so I don’t know how schools with girls and boys teams divvy up the gym.

She’ll be cured by Bacon – things are getting salty up in here!

Looks like Max has either taken over as coach or has gone into the girls’ locker room. It’s been a long time, but I have absolutely no memory of ever hanging out on the court in my uniform talking to spectators after the game. We had to go right into the locker room to hear what the coach had to say.

No wonder Menzie can’t make a foul shot. They’re making her use a bowling ball in P1. And wouldn’t that be more of a WUD rather than a BONK?

When Menzie’s forearm speaks, the other team listens in P2. I guess the team bus will stop at 7-11 on the way back to Milford.

Maxwell in P3, “I might have a cure for that. Meet me in the showers tomorrow after practice.”

Since I’m into movie quotes, from Stallone’s “Cobra”. You’re the disease, I’m the cure."

Uh oh, I think we’ve seen this one before. I’m pretty sure he’s going to show her the peacock.

From the looks of those arms, she could bench press Bacon.

He’s going to teach her how to shoot ‘granny-style’, like Rick Barry used to do. Bet nobody will laugh at her doing it.

Anyone who knows Rock and Roll knows: “Ain’t no cure for the Free Throw blues.”

I hope his cure has something to do with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo; or maybe, he’s going to improve her ball handling skills.

“I’ve got a cure for that” – My second favorite pick line after “Why don’t you dump that creep & make it with a REAL man”

So today’s “take aways” are:.1.) Jethrine is going to learn to shoot free throws like Granny..2.) Leave ‘Bear’ alone! (WKU ‘Bear’ not ‘bearsmack’)

I just googled Barry to see if any videos of him shooting free throws exist (of course they do) and learned that his son “Canyon” shoots them the same way (College of Charleston).

Wilt Chamberlain used to shoot free throws granny-style, which is probably why Coach Bacon thinks it would work for Kenzie. If it doesn’t, then there’s always the aspirin placebo.

Geez, all this chatter about free throws, and nobody’s mentioned the absolute King of free throw shooting – Ted St. Martin? Ted holds the record, hitting 5,221 free throws in a row over the span of 7 hours 20 minutes on April 28, 1996. And he does not shoot underhanded. Oh, and for $100 an hour, he’ll teach you to improve your free-throw shooting to 90% or better. Guess teaching free-throw shooting pays better than dairy farming nowadays….
