(2) – If this is a scam on Purdy Fallar’s part, he sure has played his part well! (3) – This is the 1st time I’ve noticed the photo of Notta’s husband, George Chin Chillar (panel 3, between Blaze & Notta).

Classic Noir Scenario.

Since Notta blames Tracy for killing her husband and turning her brother into a vegetable, I’m wondering if she’s going to go after Tracy’s relatives.

Back in the original story, Notta and her husband had a sort of “on again, off again” relationship with Tracy. At one point, they were telling each other stuff like “He (Tracy) makes me feel clean and decent, just by talking to him”. I guess the greed for all that moon gold got in the way of their reformation.

From Yesterday: I meant to comment on “Cole”, who appears to be a sort of henchman for Bribery. I wonder why he wears those unusual goggles. I hope we get an explanation at some point.And, that got me thinking of others who have appeared, and then no explanation ever came out. In particular, the odd looking individual who picked Panda up when Panda was released from prison, way back in the Mr. Crime story. We never found out who he was, or what his connection was to Mr. Crime.

Y’know, take the cig away, and Notta looks like she could be spokesperson for some soft-serve ice cream chain…

I sure hope Notta isn’t dusting off Stiletta’s kidnap plan. And if she is, can we introduce her to Sprocket?-It does put Blaze in a spot where she may finally have to step away from the bad guys. She may even have to help the Tracys.- Come to think of it, I bet Sprocket is the star of the prison bowling team.

I am Lovin’ Notta in her original 60’s wardrobe. Seeing her and Bribery again delights me! Enjoying them just as much today as I did so many years ago. LOVE ME SOME NAUGHTY NOTTA! Throw the Space Coupe in there and it’ll be even better.

You may be right. Notta has considerable assets, and seeing her in her original outfit again, wow! Thank you, Mike Curtis and Joe Staton. Notta is without doubt one of the most alluring Tracy villainesses ever, and I’m glad she’s back in the game. I’m looking forward to her story.

Could someone please explain to me why a post from 2 days ago comparing the strip to a Viewmaster get deleted faster than a speeding bullet yet a post from this morning referring to date rape hasn’t been removed? No offense intended, just asking.

“Notta’s a keeper.”I agree, Gweedo. (I’m agreeing with everyone today, ha!) Notta’s been one of my favorites for a long time, but if I had to make a choice, Mysta’s the one. Notta has appeal through the roof, but how do you beat a beautiful, super-powered blonde in thigh boots, who’s also a beautiful person? Mysta4ever.

I love today’s discussion and the great panels. The Notta story is going to be a lot of fun. And I’m glad she’s finally gone back to her classic 1960’s look. Yes! This is the look that made her so memorable, so why change? She’s pretty ticked off at Blaze from the look of it. Blaze better shut up about all that because Notta is not going to be reasoned with. It’s funny, I’m actually rooting for Notta. Not to kill Tracy! I never root for the bad guys, but I’m just so excited to see her story after all these years, I don’t want her backing off. I also hopes she survives and that we see her on a recurring basis after her story. Go Notta!

You can finally see it today. The gocomics colorist thinks Notta is wearing a pink body stocking or something. I don’t know why because she never wore one in the original story. The comics kingdom version isn’t like that, and I don’t see any indication of it in Joe Staton’s black and white version, either. I suppose it’s the colorist’s perception.

I love the first panel, especially the sly, “no way no how” look on Notta’s face in response to Blaze’s anxious appeal. The fact that Notta has her back turned to Blaze is also telling. Notta is 100% emotionally invested in getting back at Tracy, and she won’t hear any reasoning to the contrary. “You know what this means to me.” Yes, Notta, and now we know, too. Her comment in the 3rd panel is cold-blooded like Willy said, and also diminishing. “Wait, did you think YOU could change my mind?” Blaze is much more emotionally invested in Notta than Notta is in her. I think this is going to end badly for Blaze.

Purdy; Blaze; Notta. An interesting ménage à trois, for sure. Interesting also that the newly curvaceous Blaze acts like a young innocent here; does she no longer hold down her afternoon job? Is she not a made assassin? Revenge is a powerful drug. Notta is driven and will not give up whatever plan she has been nurturing (I suspect a strike against the Tracy family)….
