KIKO is a Man With A Plan.

Esteban can’t fool Wunbrow with just a bandanna. So much for the disguises.

Well, we now have confirmation that Kiko is not doing this on his own. If it were up to him, he’d just kill Tracy now, but he’s carrying out plans for someone else.

And what exactly does Tracy “Have Coming” …?

Esteban’s getting cold feet.

To Neil Wick and all others who made mention of my ’Rogue’s Gallery’ comment yesterday……I know that, strictly speaking, the term was meant for a list of bad guys, but in my family, we always used the term light-heartedly to describe any assembled collection of photographs. Like the ones of all our relatives on my parents’ wall. (Which are NOT rogues. Well, most of them, anyway…)Sorry for the confusion.

I think DJ loves DT :)

I assume Wunbrow would also be able to ID Kiko if he saw or told of the tattoo.

If you recognise a masked gunman, I’m not sure that it’s a good idea to tell him so.

More and more I’m thinking Notta is tied in to this……

Hmm. Esteban is identified; Kiko is relatively (—pun alert!—) open about who he is. And Wunbrow, and the ominously lurking Porfiry Ivanov (panel 1), will not suffer this ignominy lightly. In short, these two goons are destined to serve some hard time, soon, if they live long enough.I wonder who might be behind their attempted snatch of Tracy? Could Notta Fallar have put this together so quickly, acting on that mysterious phone tip—from someone in Cuba?

One has to think of - “Gambolo” Wunbrow of the Cuban ‘Secret Service’ as a unique “SURVIVOR” !Not an easy task in a country of frequent deaths and violent changes of Government 1A place where . . . if you’re not "seen_ as a “friend” (?) you’re quickly dead as yesterday’s Pork Cops !

When he first ‘appeared’ in 1958 in the Secret Service Cuba was then under the Batista regime - which would be overthrown in the following year !.

Not only had he earlier been stabbed through Hotel Drapes and left for dead, by Miss Egghead . . . BUT somehow, managed in the wake of the Fidel Castro Cuban revolution - the ‘difficult’ and highly ‘sensitive’ task’, of holding on to his Secret Service Job in a new and ‘competing’ Dictatorship !

Fortunately, this transition has not adversely affected his long standing personal relationship with Tracy.That’s the way it should be !

Not for nothing, but I think that confirmation came when we saw that the roadblock consisted of two cars.

I didn’t get the impression that the car on the right in the background was part of the roadblock, but I’m not sure that Kiko and Esteban actually came from the car on the left, so they may have had an assistant.

A really great story line.

I plan to post a graphic here, if I can figure it out, It’s about the crossover this summer.

You sayin’ DJ tipped Kiko off to Tracy being in town ?

My hunch is Kiko is working for DJ. I have no idea who is holding the strings as far as DJ is concerned. The Apparatus? They are probably more interested on Specs & Spicy than on Tracy. Bribery? Not likely.What if one among Chicory, Little Gorilla and The Dropper is still aive? They were all confirmed dead but someone might have made a big mistake. If that’s the case, my bet is on Little Gorilla. It was him who asked his brother to kidnap Tracy [because Tracy took his souvenirs. :) ]I don’t believe Notta is involved in this one. Her time will come when her story starts and that is still weeks away.What we’ve seen are just previews of what’s to come.

I’m too dumb to even work a wrist radio. Can someone on the Facebook DICK TRACY FAN PAGE upload the photo of the announcement? Sorry, folks.

Mike and Joe already created a comic strip character within their present Dick Tracy strip that is obviously an in-strip parody of Fosdick – they called him J. Straightedge Trustworthy. And Fosdick was (everybody knows) Al Capp’s parody of Tracy. Now they plan to come full circle and somehow have Fosdick appear in Tracy? My head is spinning!!!

Looks like Wunbrow is getting ready to make a move. He’s got his fist out of the window and a scheming look in his eye. Esteban better step back from the door.

Really should’ve saved #3000 to marvel over the Tracy/Fosdick crossover event.

I’d actually known this was in the pipeline for awhile, but didn’t want to spoil the surprise.

The gun in the first panel is a revolver and in the last panel seems to be an automatic and I’m the only person to have noticed (or at least commented)?
