Careful Jef – there’s very little difference between being apathetic and pathetic. One must risk fault to get credit.

I’m not sure why I SHOULD vote. None of the candidates represent me in any way shape or form. I don’t want ANY of them in office. As far as I’m concerned, any person that WANTS to be president, shouldn’t be allowed in that office.

Whenever one of you call a Democrat a communist or a socialist the rest of the world laughs its head off.

I’m with defunctdoormat. Been voting for over 60 years. I can’t remember a poorer slate on either side. In my opinion there really have been only two pres candidates of any quality – Truman, Reagan – who handled their offices with skill and ability. But then I also can remember only one other congressional body – the Joseph R. McCarthy years – that offered less chance of fixing national problems than the current mush up. Their methane output alone should qualify ‘Foggy Bottom on the Potomac’ as an environmental hazard.

Our presidential candidates are a direct reflection our society. Politics has always been a dirty business. Now, we have more media coverage!

Aside from the discussion about politics, what does getting a drivers license at 16 and cancelling it at 18 have to do with anything?

Voting for Kodos or throwing your vote away? The only votes that ever influence the direction of the two parties are votes for third party candidates.

Taken as a whole history and not one or two faults, both Truman (the only president/politician to leave office in debt) and Reagan (who helped bring down the wall and strengthened the military).proved of better character and more able than almost any other. The only president who I consider to have been a solid humanitarian was Carter, as witness his life of service since leaving office. As to working together, however we stand on that as of now, I believe the so-called ‘leading candidate for the GOP’ will put an end to that, perhaps even before the election. But I agree that working together is the only hope for a continuation of life on this planet. Good luck in the hunt for ways to achieve that.

I like it that Jef draws little girls like this. She is cute and as spunky as any little boy. It’s good when people can see KIDS without any gender issues. Calvin and Hobbs Suzy is like this too, but lots of cartoonists act like girls are 1 dimential and superficial.Of course I love all the cartoon boys too. I had 3 sons and boys are cute, funny and sweet, not to mention onery. My spell corrected doesn’t seem to work. Sigh.

Anybody but me wondering what he’s thinking running an electric floor polisher with a student sitting on it? Must be because I work in a school.
