Young Brokaw is now 80. Jennings died in 2005. Dan Rather got a movie made about him and Robert Redford acted in his role.

At least back then the newspaper was big enough to actually read and had decent news coverage.
Newspapers these days have mostly shrunken to thin shadow of their former selves.
