The truth is, America’s press pretty much ignores small party candidates. That’s a good thing since they’re pretty much irrelevant and should find a way to push their Ideas into the agenda of parties that actually have a chance of getting elected instead of taking votes away from the party that is most likely to actually do some of the things they want.
An appropriate comic for a day when the old regime full of alibis and who’s facial expression can go from a vacant, vapid stare to a hate filled rage in the blink of an eye, to an administration who has to face a hostile media full of misinformation.
It’s a new day in America, a day when people who care about this country, who will apply the rule of law and not the rule of lawfare, and who will rebuild the military to a force to be respected instead of laughed at.
Paula Parkinson—a former model—was a lobbyist who said that she used lobbying techniques that were “unusually tactile”.
In the 1980’s, future Veep Dan Quayle went on a golfing trip with her, but Quayle’s wife said that it was common knowledge that Dan would "rather play golf than have sex any day.
If only our press were willing to throw hardballs again. I think they switched to softballs not too long after this comic first ran, and their balls have gotten softer and softer ever since
