Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
The important question to be asked is, who is going to play second base now? Surely Gil won’t be able to play Barry Bader now that his Dad has done this? Oh, and what happened to Boo and Del, are other good questions.
An S-KRASH at the S-Mart! I still don’t understand just how this happened, though. Did Boo pull out in front of Del’s oncoming car, so he hit her on the driver’s side before she could make the left turn that P1 describes? And if so, then did Del actually have the right-of-way since there wasn’t a stop sign, as he will surely argue to the cow judge (assuming he does have to face charges and doesn’t just get off free because he’s, you know, dead)?
I guess this is where True and Boo discover they’re more than BFFs. But will they discover it too late? “Tell Truman I love him;Tell Truman I need him;Tell Truman not to cry,My love for him will never die.”
Well, this doesn’t look good at all for Boo and Del. At least Grand Master Bader won’t have to face the cow judge again. And wouldn’t it be funny if it wasn’t Del but the cow judge rushing home from Central City after a long day of hanging drunk drivers. At least some of the questions from yesterday have been answered by P1. It also looks like we all missed on the sound effect.
So much for the playdowns for the girls. But wait, in a genius coaching move, Mimi hands Menzie a softball and magically, she becomes the best pitcher in the state and the girls are champions. Thank you for your sacrifice, Boo.
The color version gives a better idea of just how dark the parking lot of the Swifti Mart is. I’m guessing this is a convenience store. If so, I’ve never seen one so poorly lit. Unlike Del, who’s totally lit.
Actually, what I’m wondering is this. It’s late spring. Sundown’s at around 20 past 8, and full dark — as in the totally black out, stars blazing business these strips are depicting — doesn’t happen until 10 or thereabouts. Exactly how late were those girls (and Del) partying?
In all reality , My husband Mr Reality was hit by a speeding car last night . While this is nothing new , anyone witnessing this accident please post whatever information you can provide. Mr Reality was taken to Milford General Hospital and is in a coma . Mrs. Reality
P1- Is that trash flying around in the Swifti Mart parking lot? The combination of debris, headlights off, poo on Delbert’s windshield and hic, hic spirits, offers an intriguing cocktail of prognostication.
Well, as I dreaded, they do show her just leaving the S-Mart, which means the drawing of her a few days ago turning right should have been ridiculed after all. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but nope. Did you guys like my explosion yesterday? I did. And yeah, what the hell is with that sound effect? Skrash? Seems like that should be lesser than a krash, which is probably worse than a regular crash due to using a “k”. And speaking of a crash, don’t everyone rush to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp at the same time and crash the server.
Muhammad Ali was a pioneer in Marketing and Branding. He was the perfect partner to Howard Cosell. You either liked them or loathed them. I had the pleasure of meeting “The Cos” working for ABC Sports at The 1983 Kentucky Derby. Nobody could hold court in the Paddock like Howard. After a 1980’s Derby, I was 5 feet from Ali. He was in his limo and waved at our group. R.I.P Champ. You were the greatest and made Louisville proud.

yeah – I’m with seismic. The description and the depiction are incompatible.

I am guessing it is not Master Bader involved in accident but the cow judge’s son

How does one drive from one town to another without noticing their headlights aren’t on? On brightly-lit streets, sure, but away from them?

The rear of Boo’s jeep appears to have borne the brunt of the impact. Didn’t it used to be a ragtop?

C’mon, she wasn’t really such a good pitcher. Even a middle aged drunk could hit her.

Good thing they drew that tiny little box with the word “Impact!” straddling P2 and P3 to explain things to me.
