Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
One of the best story lines of the past couple of years. Artwork has been much more consistent and higher quality. Locher and Brozman keep up the great work!
Quick, get over to Dick Tracyâs home and steal his newspaper before he can read it. Then your secrets will be safe!
The question is, who exposed the people at Weâre Lyinâ-terprises? My guess is Miss-Sue-Doko, who was very quick with that enemies list, and who seems quite familiar with all the naughty things that D-cubedâs enemies have done. The only flaw with this theory is that it makes sense.
Where is todayâs strip taking place? Itâs clearly NOT at Wehrli Enterprises (see building art of the last two days), unless that buildingâs shape has become unstable due to an unfortunate side effect of the 3-D process. And, for once, thereâs no little âyou are hereâ label in the corner of the panelâŚ
PUZZLED ! (?)
Last Sunday it was called âharassment chargesâ, NOW it comes as a âhorse of a different colorâ !
This reminds of the CIRCUS story when 2 âDeath Threatâ notes were characterized as âranson notesâ !.
The âgeniusâ in D.L.* ought to be focused enough to ârememberâ what he WROTE a few days before - so his work doesnât show him up as the village idiot.
Splattered all over the blank front page
Whatever was there, sent the CEO into a rage
Accusations, an indictment do not make
So get a grip you fool, for goodness sake
Corporate malfeasance seems to be the norm
I think itâs in their charter whenever they are formed
But this is Dickies world, so nothing will come of this
Itâs just another red herring that we can dismiss
Where the hundred million went, Tracy should be asking
It would solve the case, and in glory he would be basking
But this is Naperville, where reality does not exist
And trying to find it will drive you insane if you persist
These panels should have been among first
Then there would be a reason for the worst
Another day, another twist
We see the strip through a deepening mist
Our vision becomes more obscured
And this strip becomes more absurd.
That nose! The white -haired guy is Dick Tracyâs
long-lost brother! And that goon on the right is
the grandson of Olaf from the Blackhawks.
Hold it! IN the last panel, that white-haired guy
is Kerry Drake, Dick Tracyâs competitor! Now
I know where he was all these years!
What options do the execs at Weâre Lyinâterprises have?
A: Take Aralditeâs advice and talk to their legal staff.
B: Consult their PR staff about damage control.
C: Buy out the local newspaper to keep it from feeding clues to DT.
D: Concoct some hare-brained scheme in which they will abduct or murder whoever exposed them, thereby digging themselves into an even deeper hole. At this point DT will find them by falling into that hole.

DLisagenius, have you been getting your drugs from Simon Penn?
Regarding todayâs installment, since when does a little bad press constitute a corporation being ânailedâ or âfinished?â

Brenda Starr nailed you .
OldTracy over 14 years ago
Maybe Tracy and the local reporters should be switching jobs.

No, whoâs on first.
Bill Thompson over 14 years ago
He is? So if Whoâs on first, and Whatâs on second, then one of the criminal masterminds at Weâre Lyin-terprises must be Double-Header!
For those who, like me, donât know what Iâm talking about, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH6hcVRjJuA

Before they give up so quick, they might want to consider a lawyer.

Talking of âHORSES of a DIFFERENT COLORâ - It seems TWO âold friendsâ are âbackâ -under different âpenâ names.
These are truly âVISIONARYâ guys - who have the ability to pick âsugar plumsâ out of what everyone else sees as a pile of BS !

So, my latest guess is that they write a tight story, make four versions of every strip, then mix them all up and publish them in random order.

You are welcome Wndrwthg, Your Avitar looks pretty aggressive compared to mine, but like Tracys Strip it will slowly change too.
