Yes, it could be so simple; 1. any problems, your fault. 2. that’s about it.

Like many relatives on her side of the family, my mother went prematurely grey in her late teens/early twenties. She had her hair,“tinted” – as did lots of women of her generation.

Growing up, I always thought my mother had blue hair. !

It wasn’t until her later years that she was talked into a lighter, peach color for her meticulously coiffed hair.

Dad’s hair was dark brown until he died at 89.My mother and brother got the blue-black hair. Both went silver early.(Not gray –salt and pepper, black with silver white.)Mine is sorta blackish red with lots of silver streaks. The funny thing is, as it has turned silver, the black that’s left has turned more red.Our sisters have lighter brunette hair color. I don’t think either has gone gray at all.

I’ve seen pictures of me as a toddler with blond hair but by the time I registered with the draft it was black. It slowly went brown until about 10 years ago then started going white.I finally grew a ponytail about four years ago and was surprised to see it was red back there. I believe there is some brown back there now but I can’t find my hand mirror to see.So, I guess I was ‘sorta’ too.

I always wondered that about my grandparents too! Both grandmothers had (dyed) light brown hair. Grandpas both had gray (my parents are both dark and I’m light brown) :/ He just wants to know who he got his hair color from. :)

Lewis LinsonI knew before time, but that came up in a journalism class. The adjunct instructor (the bottom of the ladder) was was a total twit. In a proofreading exercise, he had a “blonde quaterback”. This was in the 1990s and girls football was gaining popularity. The rule is that if you can’t ask questions, follow copy. Several of us did, and an academic scandal erupted after he counted off for not doing a sex change.

My mother was a strawberry blonde. When she was little, it was more blonde, as she got older, it turned more red. When she started to get grey hair, it looked like she was just going blonde again.
