Ha haaaa!! Good one Tru! It’s so great that we can make jokes and laugh about the Baders now, I guess you’ve finished the grieving process. Maybe this endless story will come to some kind of conclusion soon?
To answer both Tru(e) and BKB’s questions; It is too late and a package deal is highly improbable considering Barry wasn’t facing any charges or standing trial.
Already assured of being in the Hall of Fame for obnoxious characters, Barry is now trying to be ranked number One. Just trying to guess what Barry will do next has made this storyline a lot of fun!
P-1: a group of Thorp readers would rather hang out at a small town high school baseball game than read this strip.P-2: Good thing I’m here on the bench; they’d probably kill me just to move on to a new story.P-3: Did I tell you? I got a tat as a Boo memorial: Boo put the Demon in the Deacons.P-4: It’s Friday, this strip doesn’t move the story anywhere. Yep, we’ve got at least another week of this.I said it the other day. Before this story ends Del will be out.
At first I thought Jefferson was playing at Milford in the middle of a school day, and the boneheads were the spectators. But if Barry’s talking about his teammates cutting school, I would think they’d be suspended from the next game.
Football started for a few high schools in the D.C area last night. Everybody else starts next week. Will baseball in Milford end before the World Series does on November 2nd?
That little anus Bader would have ended up stuffed head first in a trash can multiple times a day when I was in high school. And I don’t mean the little head.
P-1: Milford has made it to the late 50’s. Although, the internet seems to have forgotten him, “Star Man” was a contemporary of the “Prince of Space”. Jeff Bridges’ Star Man seems to be the only one search engines remember.

As Barry Bader strode to the plate for his first at bat, Eric Carman serenades him.

I hate to break it to Barry, but there’s a good possibility those ruffians skipped class to kick Barry’s a$$ after the game.

Day 140: Our eventual salvation faced another setback as Master Bader is still a jerk. Could this mean one more week of this horrible story arc?

I think they’ve written themselves into a corner and they don’t know how to get out of it.

Apologies for the long rant…I figured that’s what R&W are doing, so I thought I’d join in.

High School football starts tonight in a lot of districts. I hope Monday’s strip abruptly cuts to some gridiron action.
