Grog speaks actual English (or whatever the cavemen speak that is magically translated for us)! The closest I recall was Peter trying to teach Grog to speak by pointing at a rock, saying “Rock,” to which Grog said “Kronk!” Peter walked away in disgust, saying, “I give up.” Grog replied, “Kwit!”

There was another old strip. Peter shows Grog a “Stick.”Grog responds, “Floob.”Peter, correcting, “No, STICK.”Grog at maximum volume: “FLOOOOB!!!”
Final panel, Peter building a fire asks B.C. “Hand me another floob, will you?”
