That seems a reference to Wallace’s Malay (not Malaysian) Archipelago (cf. http://www.mediastorehouse.com/polyalthea-strange-forest-tree-tree-fern/print/8611880.html) who writes “I slept very comfortably with half a dozen smoke-dried human skulls suspended over my head”.

The gag would have been more appropriate to the 14th century, what with the Black Death.

I wonder if past-life Boopsie ever channeled Hunk-Ra . It would explain 1233…

At least she’s not from a long line of royalty and elites, as other “reincarnistas” seem to be. (“How can you tell he’s a king?” /python)

so is Boopsie really knowledgeable about history, or is her imagination just making all this up?

Was the 13th century worse than the 20th with WWI and WWII, Hitler, Stalin and the Holocaust? Will the 21st century be worse than all the others with the catastrophes of climate change looming and all of the societal changes and unrest that our descendants will have to deal with because of that?

Jack, this is your pat response when you cannot refute, or are unable to dispute, a direct reply that calls into question your comments. To that end, I would only state that, unlike yourself, I don’t feel the need to add self-aggrandizing statements to any post I may make on this board, particularly the type of which you felt the need to include above:“I knew all of the states and all of the capitals at the age of four.”“I could add, subtract, multiply, and divide before being taught those subjects in school.”“I was the youngest spelling champion of my time.”Please, Mr. Wizard, tell me more.
