The illusion overplayed its hand.Okay, now Wally’s going to say “Do your worst’” and the illusion will do its worst.

Ooooo… the big choice! Has this all been a test? Were Jim and Sarah real? For that matter, was Unity real? Maybe it’s only been Wally and Holly the whole time…. This ends now, huh? I sure hope so cause I’m as lost as an Easter egg. ;-)

Click your heels, and say: There’s no place like home! If Wally can control dittos, why doesn’t he just imagine a fully fueled passenger jet with sentience?

It was real until they went through the portal in the room on the ship. This isn’t Wally’s dittos doing this; at least that’s my suspicion.

“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”. Or the unkown mind behind the dittos.

Maybe playing on Holly’s fears that Wally loves Kirbee and Chic more than her? I agree the dittos have overplayed their hand. The question is how much power does Wally have over them?Clearly Sparkplug had 0 control and they replayed his guilty conscience over and over….

I wonder if what we were seeing is in fact dueling ditto colonies, and wally has to basically prove he’s the bigger badass to get them ALL under control in an all or nothing gambit.

All along I’ve been wondering what “show” Holly has been viewing while we’ve followed Wally & friends (I’ve assumed that she hasn’t been playing a cameo in the scenes that we’ve seen).

Now that everyone but Wally is “offstage”, I now also have to wonder what they are being shown? (I am assuming that nobody is being held unconscious when they aren’t front and center in the comic.)

Hopefully at some point everyone will have a chance to compare notes on what they experienced.

I just had a sudden vision of Mr. Neathery reading these comments and suddenly realizing “OMG, there’s a point I’d forgotten” or “how am I going to explain THIS to everyone’s satisfaction?”

Could just be a thing, but the way I read the cries for help, and take into account the way they’re shaded and whatnot, I imagine Wally could also be hearing their voices in a fairly distorted manner, which would also make him not buy it…

aside from the fact they’d’ve been inside a small regular body and all that…

I still think this is Holly’s Dreaming/Memory and she’s testing Wally’s loyalty and feelings for her. She’s the one most in need of healing and has a lot of unresolved issues from the loss of her home, her family and her world. She shoved all of that into a corner of her mind, just to survive, where it has remained and festered. The loss of Clive brought it to prominence in her mind again and I think the dittos are responding to her psychological breakdown. They’re trying to help Holly and they’re also ticked at Wally for setting her off by ‘abandoning’ Clive, even though it was the right thing to do. That brain unit has a tracker on board and once above ground, it was traceable. Ditto camouflage or no, they were going to be found because of it. The only good thing is, that without power, Clive ia unaware and not suffering.

Been meaning to mention…reminds me of the “Help me, Spock!” lines in that episode of “Star Trek” with Abraham Lincoln and Surak of Vulcan, whose title escapes me at the moment—-it’s also the one where Kirk splits his pants.

Robert,It depends on how much engineering the dittos understand. Having worked on designing basic airplanes as a hobby I know that there is certain things on an airplane that have got to be correct, like airfoil shape. Even basic puddle jumpers need airfoils designed to a precise shape. Would the dittos understand that and be able to replicate it?Most of the constructs Wally has created are simple, the bridge like structure that kept them from falling into a chasm, a bed for Holly with an umbrella. The surrey was merely the bed with walking feet. It didn’t have axles or anything rotating. I don’t know if dittos would be able to create spinning propellers, but I doubt it.
