I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat show anything that even resembled shame.

My 1st thought was cuz he converted the fireman slide pole into a cat climb
I think the work bubble should be on the fireman, directed to the owner….
I take it as, the cowardly cat has to be recued because it is stuck up its climbing pole.
I have seen my share of cats in trees, on top of cabinets, refrigerators and such, and yet not one Cat Skelton in or on any of those objects.
Total miss, here. Who’s he talking to? Either way, what’s the joke?
