Selfy has a bag of cash

Look to see ill-gotten stash

Now he aims to pack and dash

His vanity his curse.

Sam and Tracy at the door

Question the abhorrent boor

Selfy’s cool exists no more

Things go from bad to worse.

Bellowthon, she was found dead

Overheard, harsh words she said

Now Detectives seeing red

Narcissism so perverse.

As Bellowthon checked into the city morgue

Growing stiffer as each minute went by

Selfy’s glee grew enormously huge

As his wealth went soaring towards the sky

With neither the slightest hint of regret or remorse

He embraced all his ill gotten cash

To his eternal dismay he left wide open the way

Leading potentially to a dinner of prison hash

No matter the end of this tale of great greed

The fact is no one truly ever wins

Jail, death and biased attacks

Will always be part of our sins!

What can I say, DT’s poets Pequod and avenger09 said it all. Great work, the two of you

Selfy is caught in the act…. of stashing the cash. Now where is the weapon

I like the name of his business, Self Image. It definitely fits.

Besides the fact that they don’t know that Bellowthon is missing money, they also don’t know how Coffee Grounds was poisoned a tiny wound behind his knee. There are no grounds (pardon the put) to arrest Selfy for that, either. And a good morning to Gweedo, Anyface, 22ph, DaJellyBelly, Neil Wick and all Tracy fans.

So Selfy wants to use the cash donations to sponsor a type of “memorial bill.” In honor of the late Lois Bellowthon.

Most likely we haven’t heard the last of the push for anti-Lunarian legislation.

And good morning to all of yuz!

Looks to me as though Selfy has been caught in flagrante delicto, so to speak. All that cash is going to call for some ‘splainin’! Selfy may be a smooth image-maker, but he’ll have a hard time talking his way out of this one. And if he goes for the poison selfie-stick…; well, Tracy’s heavy trenchcoat has saved him before (think of the Reichenbach Falls falls). An attempted violent escape would not be prudent….

I realize Selfy’s comments are vague. But how could he know Bellowthon had discovered his embezzlement scheme unless he met with her? If he did meet with her and she was unharmed when he left, why did he lie to Bellowthon’s assistant? He pretty much officially outed himself today as the murderer in my opinion.

Caught with the goodies?

It should be pretty telling to Tracy and Sam that their person of interest is stashing big wads of cash in a satchel just as they arrive.

You Said it All PQ..

A double header of poetry today headlining the board. Great work from all our poets.

Sam has an open door policy. He is all warmed up, but receives a cool reception. Selfy’s road trip is interrupted. One more self-indulgent self-portrait, even as his face looks out from every corner of the room. “Self Image,” indeed. So self-satisfied, smug and sneering. So insufferable. Good to see his selfie stick is not in hand.

Pretty sloppy of Selfy, leaving that door open. Why anybody could just walk right in.

Now, if only they could look at the pictures on his smartphone, I’m sure there’s one of him with his late employer.

Smart guys like him like to show how smart they are. Problem is, none of us are as smart as we like to think we are.

If I remember right, Selfy took a shot of himself leaving Bellowthon’s office – I wonder if smart-phone devices like that time and date stamp the photos. If so, once the Coroner settles time of death, that might be enough to trap him into some sort of admission.

And here’s the motive I was wondering about

Sam should grab all the cash under Civil Asset Forfeiture. All they have to do is say they thought Selfie might be a drug dealer and verify that 1 in 4 of those bills has traces of cocaine. Then they can keep half for their department!
