Arlo, It’s not nice to wear your smarty-pants on the outside. And especially when dealing with your BGFF. Just sayin’…

Use the “rope” app. Hang the rope out the window. If it’s wet, it’s raining. If it’s moving back and forth, it’s windy.

I’m with Arlo! Hate people using those small phone screens for everything; you can’t possibly see the details!

… Will you look out the window and tell me if it’s raining or not?
Night-Gaunt49[Bozo is Boffo] about 8 years ago
Looking out the window doesn’t help you with that thunderstorm that will come in three hours.

Snow in Chicago for the WS?IMVPO MLB starts way to early in the year. Snow in the upper midwest can happen until May. Besides, its far to cold for Baseball to be playing night games until mid June. When you have to dress up like its the middle of Jan. just to watch a MLB game in person, its to damn early in the year

And having the WS in the last week of Oct first week of Nov in the upper midwest, is quite possibly even more due to owners greed than starting in early April

My “Smart Phone” [IQ; 63] Tells me the weather ‘what it was’ and doesn’t allow Java to ‘move it’… I curse the day that I was fooled into buying such a useless ‘machine’.. Worse, I have 2,000+ minutes on the dam thing, and have to buy another card to ‘reactivate’ it so that I can just tote it around, not calling anyone that I wouldn’t call on the land-line right in front of me. Me, A Hi-Tech sort that grew this technology and now hoist by my own dam petard. [snarl, fume, cuss, etc]

Dude, a smartphone is a “real computer”. Then again, so is an electronic calculator.

I have several weather apps on my phone. If one won’t work, I just try another.

It depends. My computer is in a north-facing room and through that window, I can see clear to Oklahoma. That’s warning enough.

Wunderground tells me it’s raining, and the scene outside concurs.
