Of course, they told their descendants they came for religious freedom which of course was not true because Protestantism was thriving in Europe. They were just such big butt-heads that Europeans were glad to see them join the criminals who were sent here first. They were such big butt-heads that even the first Thanksgiving is tainted because fifty years later they went to the Wampanoags, The natives who saved their very lives, and murdered every last man, woman and child as a prevention of any future disagreements that might possibly arise.
