I think that’s the best we can get from Team Tracy as far as closure of Selfy’s short life at Dick Tracy. Ended with a selfie of the rushing water buffalo.

Was not on all day as I first went to set an appointment for some mild transmission work to be done early next week and then from 11:30 to 7 pm was visiting my old Greatest Generation friend at the hospital north of here. He was in the best condition yet since going in some 5 weeks or so ago. While there they moved him up to the rehab section where he begins in earnest tomorrow.

Interviews conducted over a year or so time with an author have resulted in a published book; Biography: For Liberty. I am reading his personal copy and you, N-G, will get a copy once I can buy up some myself. I will ask his boy Ron about that next we meet. All in all a very good if not a bit tiring of a day !

Now, what kind of dynamic is Tracy going to set in motion, by telling Fritz Ann about Margie? Is this really necessary at this point? Would Sam really want her knowing?

This puts Fritz Ann in an awkward place. Almost anything she does now could be misunderstood.

Of course if Margie dies, it leaves an open field for Fritz Ann.

Hopefully, Fritz Ann will exercise some measure of decorum and not take up the flirting game with Sam.

Did they recover that satchel full of cash that Selfy was running with? Maybe it’s still tucked away in the Zoo storage room. They knew he had it when he jumped the bridge and got away from them, if I remember correctly.

Fritz Ann and Sam are friends. In the aftermath of being shot at Ace Tower (as she pushed Sam out of the way), Fritz Ann made it clear that her flirting was due to Sam being a nice, safe guy (10/2/15). She would want to know that Sam is hurting over Margie’s serious illness. Tracy understands this. He is right to speak up.

I think Fritz Ann will behave herself – she and Sam came to an agreement about her flirting after she got shot, if I remember right.

O, Dick…

Fritz Ann is going to feel guilty about teasing Sam in the past, even though she confessed she did it only in fun.

Oh dear, I’m so sorry. But it makes you wonder — if your in the same situation, could you do the same?I don’t know and I don’t want to find out. I hope however you and all are at peace now.

Cancer isn’t one disease.

It’s like those big boxes of crayons you had when you were a kid. You know, 64 colors, including some you never heard of? That’s cancer.

That’s also true for chemo.

Depending on the form of cancer, chemo can be taken as a pill or require a toxic soup that knocks the crap out of you. Usually, it’s something in between.

And defeating one cancer doesn’t mean – unfortunately – that another won’t develop.

I don’t expect to ever see a total cure for cancer, simply because there are too many types.

I would LOVE to see Margie beat cancer in the story line. Yeah, her passing would open the door for Sam and Fritz Ann… but it would turn this detective comic strip into a soap opera.

I, for one, think it’s just fine when murderers off themselves (or get “offed”) before being “brought to justice.” Saves us a lot of time, bother, and money.

……of course she should know; they’re friends……now, am I the only one who doesn’t think it’s just some strange coincidence they brought Fritz-Ann back right after the news about Sam’s wife? It would have been kinda cool if Sam’s wife had needed, say, a special marrow donor…and Fritz Ann was the one who filled the bill.

Now, Fritz Ann finally shows up?! The FBI is really sluggish in regard to the Bellowthon murder of a U.S. Representative. Maybe it’s not a federal offense?!

Or is she really here in Tracyville for her audition as a potential second wife for Sam, in case Margie doesn’t make it?
