Perhaps this is a “fake cancer cure” storyline to tie into Sam’s story? “Bodee Tech” sounds like a biotech firm, and perhaps Dr. Fish is Marge’s doctor? Promising some sort of tailored cure that really doesn’t work?

I wonder if this is gonna be a twist, and turn out to be some kid’s letter to Santa just in time for Christmas

I won’t criticize today’s today’s trip. I don’t find it boring and these types of narrative devices can be used to good effect. But I will point out that we’ve had two out of three days like this. This works best in small doses.

I always feel like everything I post in here gets lost but I’d really like to say how great it is to see this comic become such a powerhouse once again. The art is incredible. It’s modern. It’s funny. There’s nothing goofy or lame about it. You guys are great.

Carefully, the table was set….

I like these kind of strips…and four panels! It sets the reality that the action works around, like the city scenes of 76-81. This series reminds me of the Computer Killer from (80 or 81). There was some great pacing, viewpoints and unfortunately, still timely story of computer storage and job obsolescence, with a Gouldian ending. The pacing and art was similar to Art Deko, my other favorite from that period.
