I hope each of you and the commenters who follow will have a great New Year. I also look forward to future strips and the commentaries. They brighten my day, regardless of the subject.
It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. To pessimists, any year will live down to their expectations. To optimists, any year will be a great year. Wise men see it as both.
At 60 years old; I have yet to figure out why people wait till a new year to make a resolution to change their life. You can start any time if you know you need to change something to improve your life. Today, no matter what the date, is always the best day to start.

Some, however, evaluate their lives as one year arbitrarily changes to another and think,“I intended to be more/less [somethingorother] by now. I better get on the ball. I resolve to…”
2016 was a little rough:) I lost my house, car, job and mind but wifey said I’m still a winner:) She told me she’d be right back . . . that was a month ago:( In 2017 I’m starting off right . . . I’m going to go look for her:)
