Well, I’m here; it’s 8:30 EST.

I went to a boarding school – we never got snow days! All we had to do was walk downstairs to class.

Wait, what’s the schoolmarm doing there?

We lived in a rural area where communicating that there was no school was sort of scattershot. One day, a group of us stood two hours in the wind and snow waiting for a bus that never came.

I grew up in a small town, no buses so we had to walk to school ergo no snow days

Every parent repeats his parents’ sermons, and every child reacts the same way. You’d think at least one of them would recognize the pattern and try to break the chain.

What’s the TEACHER doing there??

We never had a snow day either……. in San Diego.

I’m 58 years old, and we had snow days when I was growing up.

5 miles to school in the Snow, uphill both ways!
