I dunno, writing your own biography might be kind of fun. Especially if you bounce between the most exciting and fun parts (Roald Dahl’s “Boy” and “Flying Solo”), or heavily embellish it to the point of making it pure entertainment (anything by Jean Shepherd).
Maya Angelou wrote somewhere around a dozen autobiographies, so a sequel isn’t that far-fetched. Bucky, however, doesn’t fetch, so he should stick with one.
One of the best assignments I ever got in HS English was to write my own obituary — the way I’d want it to read decades later. That one assignment did more for my subsequent life than all the guidance counselors and well-meant parental advice put together.

Chuck Barris’s “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” was subtitled “An Unauthorized Autobiography”.

If you want something trippy, read Craig Ferguson’s autobiography American On Purpose. I have it in front of me now.
