I think the handwritten sign held to the front door with scotch tape really gives the house a first impression that says, “Only the finest in taste”.

Who wouldn’t like a friend like TJ, whose only purpose on Earth is to do things for Brad – remodel Brad’s home, plan his wedding, finance his parents’ dream, get revenge on someone who fired him, cook his meals, etc. etc.

The wallpaper is enough to give a kid nightmares. So I’m guessing there’s no bedroom for Shannon…

I have to say, that wallpaper is ugly. Hopefully Brad and Toni will have it replaced. Otherwise, Greg will have to draw the wallpaper pattern every time there’s a scene in the house — which I doubt he would enjoy. (If Greg has a way to reproduce the wallpaper pattern without having to draw it by hand, then that’s unfortunate because it means we will see the wallpaper a lot more often than I would prefer.)

How did he MENAGE all this?

I can try mightily to ignore the wall paper. Too busy and uninteresting.

“Chateau Trio” ?? Sounds too permanent. I understand Brad and Toni are both frugal – but they are not living in New York City. TJ – That was gift wrapping paper – not wallpaper!

It’s unorthodox but (presumably) short term. Let’s hope Brad and Toni take TJ enough to learn at least some cooking basics!

Seriously, I’m a little bothered by Brad and Toni’s apparent willingness to take advantage of TJ’s cooking skills. I know they’re busy professionals, but so is TJ… and he most likely works five or more days per week, whereas they probably work fewer but longer hours.

Whatever brings TJ happiness without hurting others should be permitted. It isn’t involuntary servitude if he volunteers. It isn’t even servitude if he enjoys it.

Have we ever seen what TJ does for a living? Has he had any sort of job since the food truck exploded, or does he just hang around at the Fuse? We’ve seen him in a Kafe Kablooie uniform, is that his only day job?

Did TJ ever check with Brad or Toni to see if they liked what he planned to do? They have to live there too.

And yeah, TJ should be ready to move out now. It’s just plain weird that he’s still there.

I expect Tj is not going to for at least a few years until toni says she pregnant I’d give at least 2 years probably at 2020

Again…why didn’t TJ take Toni’s old apartment? He needs to be on his own while Brat goes through the honeymoon stage.

Ah Yes. WONDERFUL! Today, Ladies and Gentlemen, We see just SOME of the Reasons why Old Smiley SHOULD be THROWN Out the Front Door like ‘Jazz’ was on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Let’s just say that both Toni and Brad earn $22K. They have 0 kids and no known of overwhelming debt. Why do they choose to live with a room mate? I know this is a cartoon; however, this story line really confuses me.

TJ has overstepped. The wallpaper is way over-the-top, at least as something to pick out for other people, without their input, and especially in their home where they have to live with it so much. For that matter, you don’t pick out a chair for someone else,especially if it’s one they’re expected to sit in a lot. Fail. This “should” be the start of an arc that breaks up the living arrangement — we’ll see.

Blech, are those stars, or single-celled organisms? Either way, it’s gotta go. Can’t carve out any self-respecting man cave in the house, with that going on. :-)

I would think this is the next stage of the marriage, and the status/relationship of TJ to Brad and it. At some point TJ would, in the real world, need to go off on his own. But this being Luannverse who knows? One thing is clear for TJ haters, and that is that that emotion is misplaced. But there is no accounting for taste.

Just think of TJ as a live-in cook and rent contributer.

Do they NOT want privacy during the ‘get acquainted’ time?

TJ needs a “special somebody” for HIS life!

Not only is TJ built in cook and rent contributer, but he also is able to get along with / handle Shannon. If Brad and Toni do adopt her, get custody or whatever, hey will have a built in baby sitter, when TJ is not managing K2…. since o@ten Brad and Toni are working similar sifts whether they are 2 the same fire station or different ones, like they were at the beginning. Unless of course Grammie Nancy, Grandpa Frank or Luann will always be on hand to watch Shannon…. Not.

Oh and If they adopt Shannon, they will still be a threesome, even if TJ moves out.

Maybe it’s the fact that the wedding ate up… what was it in real time – three, four weeks? But it sure seems like a short honeymoon.

Hope their marriage is more blissful Ozzie and Harriet than battling Liz Taylor and Richard Burton. The world could use a “happy spot” in all of its turmoil.
