Okay, that’s two changes I like.

Well, she’s complimentary, even if she did imply that Tracy is foolish. All she cares about is that the bidders believe her story, whether it be true or not.

    That’s a good question, Jim.

We still don’t know who Hotshot Charlie is ferrying to this affair.

“Diet” Smith vs. “Daddy” Warbucks would be smackdown enough.

    Add “The Octopus” …

    Possibly “The Dragon Lady” …

    .. and you’ve got yourself a “Fatal Four-Way.”

Remember, the Great AM already knows the formula since he is immortal too. I’m sure that he has control of any disruption that takes place on his turf.

The Way Mr. Am talks he was always alive and looking like he does, no serums or elixirs involved.

Gosh, you DT-ers come around early.

Well, I mean, late in the evening… but early on the strip.

    Meanwhile…. from yesterday….

    NeilWick…. (hoping you’ll return..)

Thanks! You and I seem to have no overlap on our queues. LOL.. but “Ballard Street” is where I found your link.

There are usually a fair number of posters. A couple of us , including me, often post tips to others.. so anything you’ve got would be most appreciated there!

Just a quick link or even just a word as to where you DID post it… and I bookmarked your DT help page too.

And to the rest of you…. I’ve posted this elsewhere…

Yes, double-space (enter enter) now gives what looks like a blank line….

but it’s actually a “soft return”.

It puts the text on the next line, but formatting on the new site puts a single spaced blank line between new lines.

If you want a paragraph break (ie “hard return”) to make a break between thoughts, or paragraphs, like the one just above (and several others in this post) so the text isn’t continuous. the easiest way I’ve found is

    enter enter   enter enter

which is double space, the HTML code for a “non-breaking space”, and another double space.

You can also do it with p’s and angle brackets and all, but to me, it’s more of a pain.

Interesting visual bit in the first panel, shadowing Tracy’s one eye to mirror the patch on Pernelle’s. It doesn’t quite work for me, but it’s interesting.

One improvement (if you can call it that) I’ve noticed here on the GoComics Tracy page, is that the link to the Brewster Rockit merchandise page is no longer here!!! Now I won’t accidentally click on it any more!

Hey, I just had a thought! What if Pernelle is really JOHN LAW IN DISGUISE???Hm.On second thought, maybe not.http://www.willeisner.com/johnlaw/who-is-john-law.html

I was thinking the same thing. Every so often, the cops set a sting and net a whole cageful of perps. Pernelle certainly passes the physical for bait.

That is interesting, because yesterday, she said that was the year she was supposed to have died.

Perenelle is clearly signaling she’s running a scam, it’ll be fun watching Tracy trying to expose her.

From her perspective (whoever she really is), all that matters for Perenelle is that the Heavy Hitters are swallowing her bait (and, yes, she is quite toothsome bait, eyepatch and all—and why the eyepatch? Chekhov’s Gun Rules…). Tracy seems justified in his skepticism, as she herself implies. There appears to be a really big scam here. But there are still a great many unknowns of importance in the story (e.g., the identity of Hotshot’s passenger). This is heating up to a Super Showdown….

That is a dangerous game whether she is real or just a grifter, dangerous people could retaliate.
