Typical. Tiffany wants to meet the guys.

She doesn’t know that most mechanical engineering students are also nerds. That’s not a bad thing, but I don’t think she’s going to find guys she’s interested in.

It’s good to identify goals and move towards them. ;)

New subject today.

Tiffany has already identified the classes that will satisfy her college needs.

Lookit Tiff’s expression in the last frame. She’s taking refuge in a glorious vision that doesn’t include any specific guys. It reinforces our hunch that Tiffany has never been in love. My other hunch is that the nature hike with Gunther was closer to it than the wild evening with Jack.

I feel sorry for Tiffany. She had a tough childhood and craves the affection she has never known.

I hope she enjoys Mechanical Engineering. Ahem!

Ah yes. I remember them well. In my all-science/engineering Uni we had maybe a dozen women. We looked upon them as going for their MRS degree. As an aside; I married the prettiest (and smartest) one.

Hmmm. I wonder if Gunther will be in one of Tiff’s classes. (Oh, PLEASE!)

I hate scheduling courses. My friend wound up with one class starting 10 minutes before his previous class ended.

Wouldn’t it be a hoot if it turned out Tiffany had a knack for mechanical engineering?

Just wait until Tiffany mistakes a Lathe machine with a Latte machine….and wonders why there’s a grainy taste to her drink, when she puts her cup down…

Of course, she’ll soon realize a couple of things, once she gets there….one of them, being how she’ll only end up running into Gunther, again….and again….and again…

Wonder if she’ll be inspired to run a statistical model analysis for that ?……On second thought, she’d probably think that ‘model analysis’ means that she’d get to wear a swimsuit and gown to parade in front of everyone….

Why do they seem to be going backwards on Tiffany’s character and making her as shallow as she was in high school?

Tiff reminds me of the story about the vapid young thing who told her college councilor that she’d only be there for one year, as she was getting married in the spring.

Oh? Who’s the lucky man?

Gosh, I don’t know. I haven’t even started classes yet.

I would love to see Tiffany try to pass a single engineering-track class. She’d fail Physics 101 and never get to an actual engineering class.

Tiffany knows the odds are good; what she doesn’t know yet is that the goods are odd.

Scotty would be proud.

Paris (Tiffany) is simply “legally blonde.” (In an engineering kinda way.) she may succeed, you never know. I hope Gunther is going for the same thing,I don’t want him near his “sister” (Bernice) who can’t stand Paris (Tiffany) at all.

Tiffany needed to be tutored in math (by Gunther). She’s not a very good candidate for any engineering classes so I can’t see her being accepted in the program.

Don’t those sorts of classes have prerequisites? What’s Tiffany going to do when she flunks all of her tests and assignments because she knows nothing about engineering?

SUE: the twist would be, that she takes the classes and it turns out she IS good at this stuff. You never know, y’know?

One engineering student greets another: “Hey! Cool bike! Where did you get it?”“Well, I was walking down the back path to class, where it goes through the woods, and a gorgeous coed rode up on it. She stopped, took off all her clothes, and said, ‘Take what you want!’ So I took the bike.”“Good choice! I don’t think any of her clothes would have fit you.”

Tiffany is a satisficer – at least when it comes to picking courses.

Tiff is so like the Reese Witherspoon character in Legally Blond, but she should become a personal banker, so she and her clients could check out each others’ assets.

Dumber than dirt.

Tiff passed the prereqs for engineering? I doubt she could solve x+3=4 much less anything that course would require.

JR1234 LESS THAN A MINUTE AGOTiffany/they has/have 20 to 24 comic years to get thru 4 years of comic college. May be just enough time for Tiffany to get thru the program and come out with a DEGREE.

In 20 years brain implants will be common.

Middle panel says it all: What you see is what you get. Flashy vs. drab (and Bernice actually looks pretty good). Bernice might be intellectually gifted, but Tiffany could give you a few private lessons in chemistry, that don’t involve textbooks. Say what you want, but if you had a class of 100 Bernices, your eyes would only see Tiffany. If you disagree with that, your hormones should be on the endangered species list. Tiff might be a one night stand, but Bernice would be a lifetime of nagging.

What’s she gonna do when she gets knocked up.

The Evanses should have a Groundhog’s Day arc, in which each character gets repeated opportunities to win the loves of their hearts. Tiffany could date the entire football team and the ME majors.

Very few women in my Mechanical Engineering class.
