Ordered to a pickup of cold cash at the Siam

Just another graveyard shift, gob smacked is what I am

When stepping from the elevator next thing that I see

A man his face obscured by hair hiding behind a tree

Emerging with a gun that’s aimed directly at my chest

Feeling sharp puncture of the dart, wish now I’d worn a vest.

Sleep quickly overtakes me and I have the strangest dream

The hotel plants have come to life. I try but cannot scream.

This place is swank. This place is posh. I wish I were a guest.

Instead I’m here in dreamland drugged and lain down for a rest.

Well, that was fast and I don’t think they did see what hit them.

Ouch !

Very efficient.

At least they didn’t shoot ’em down in cold blood.

Not everyone is crazy enough to just kill when they don’t have to.

If the couriers entered the elevator on the 30th to pick up the money on the 28th floor, they must have been ambushed on either the 30th on their way back up. I am assuming that the money is with Perenelle on the 28th floor. What’s on the 30th floor? It is probably the last floor before the rooftop where the helipad is.

If the couriers used a helicopter to pick up the money, Kitchen Brush have to deal with the pilot unless one of the couriers is the pilot, which is possible because both are wearing sunglasses. In that case Kitchen or Brush might know how to fly the helicopter. Kitchen is the driver, Brush is the brains.

Even though the Brush saga in the 1960’s was one of my all-time favorites, I don’t know how this current character could possibly be the original. And even if he was, why would he still wear a “Brush” face disguise? LOVE this strip always, and it will be interesting to get some insight from Team Tracy!

I know Brush is presumed to have died at the conclusion of his original story, but was that death ever officially confirmed?

With all the security, I don’t see Brush getting very fur.

I think these boys are in past their depth. Ms. Flammel may be snoozing, but will the thieves pull off a robbery under Am’s nose? It will take more than a tranquilizer dart to elude a watchful Am, methinks.

Odd that TEK would only have two guards transporting all that money. I’ve seen more guards than that loading up coins to an armored truck from a private business.

The plant crew have the $1.25M; now they have to make good their escape, getting past some or all of Tracy, DoubleUp, Perenelle, Am, and any additional TEK guards, plus any of the bidders still around—Carrion and Julia, or Diet and Daddy, or the Dragon Lady.
