Tracy is getting closer to the truth. Big and Little Margie were indeed at the cemetery but Little Margie really had nothing to do with the convention robbery.

At least he has now connected the two cases into one.

Didn’t he suspect this already, and that’s why he went to the store? So what’s new?

Well, that was quick.

He means the visit did suggest to him his hunch needs to be explored more closely. IN science it is a hypothesis from which you attempt to prove or not.

Tracy does say “perhaps the robbery,” but other than that, it looks like it’s pretty much over except for the chase!

Sam’s the odd one today. A day or so ago, he seemed interested in Margie’s work, today he looks really miffed – especially if, unlike Tracy, he hasn’t connected them to the cemetery.

Looks like the Three Margies really dug their own graves with that cemetery prank!

(Yeah, I know, only two went to the cemetery)

But mostly the cemetery vandalism.

This is very cool. Tracy had seen Big and Little Margie before, but when he saw the blurry photo, he couldn’t quite place what it (the photo) was reminding him of. Then when he saw them again, with the photo fresh in his mind he apparently “got it”. Sam, on the other hand, only had the photo to go on, but then he also saw Big and Little Margie together – I wouldn’t have been surprised if he also tumbled to the fact that it was them in the photo. Today’s dialog seems to suggest that he did not notice the resemblance yet, – maybe he will take another look at the photo, now that Tracy has mentioned his suspicions.

Like I said yesterday, Tracy is laying a trap.

I think Sam looks ticked off (can I say that JPW? ) because his shirt collar is way to tight! LOL!

Sam lost his toothpick! LOL!

6 days and counting!

So has Middle Margie been involved in any of the vandalism? I’m also not quite completely convinced that she was the masked gun, er, person.

just so y’all don’t go and start worrying about me… I’m on vacation all next week so I may NOT check in here during that time.. if not, then I wish ALL of you (at least you ‘americaners’) a HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! and I’m thanking THE LEGENDARY VISA BILL and all others here who may have served in advance!

and before you ask, no im NOT going back to Hawaii.. just y et. my nephew is graduating from high school on Tuesday. He lives in Memphis, and since im his godfather too, I was going to go down there tomorrow and come back Wednesday.. but after $1k repairs on my car I couldn’t afford a ticket.. so I sent him his gifts earlier this week.. he understands why I cant be there and he says its ok. he has A.D.D. A.D.H.D. Epilepsy and high functioning autism, and he is the most amazing person I have ever known, so of course I feel bad about not being there for him.. but he said its ok :)

maybe I will find a way to bring him to Hawaii with me IF I manage to get there next year to celebrate my 50th birthday lol

I can see Lizz having to answer Nature’s call while Tracy and Sam play “Bad cop, worse cop” with the Margies.

Today’s strip is crucial to the advancing of the story line. For the first time, Tracy indicates that he is investigating the people we know are the perps, in both the robbery at the cos con and the vandalism of (at least one of, probably all of) the three Jewish cemeteries. From this point forward, it’s a matter of gathering proof and making the arrests; in other words, it’s just a matter of time now….

P.S. I have noted the regrettable return of “Featured Comment” with the added coding error that the “replies” under it will not open and instead just jump one back and/or forth. I for one don’t like being literally jerked around.

Is anyone else having trouble opening the replies to the featured comments?

Sam’s right. This week brought what little narrative momentum this story had to a screeching halt.
