Well the trial worked…..freeing them from the stigma of eating eggs and milk. At a cost of some fan favorites! Jacob is worried about the bad press on the food shortage story he doesn’t care about the wolf pig issues tearing up the town. Even VanderWeasel did not know about the surplus……but she does now! What are her loyalties?
wasn’t the rabbit a scoundrel who rigged his election? he’s being a bit altruistic now and wasn’t the woman a weasel? she’s less weaselly now. is my memory faulty?
@MXY: I just looked at volume 3 where she first appears. Yes, she was more weasely. Chalk it up to AN not drawing her for a few years and the evolution of how AN’s drawing over time. As a comparison, I looked at how Sarah was drawn in the beginning and what she looked like at the end. The hair was both shorter AND the neck was longer. In fact the neck growth was the same for all the lizards.
Hmmm…. The last time he went to The Examiner, he wasn’t exactly given the hero’s welcome. In fact, if Dottie had her way, she’d have thrown him out. And it was Dottie who talked Walt into running against him, when she probably should’ve done it herself. But Dottie likes to write the stories, not have a starring role in them.
Ironically, Jacob is going to need someone like Dottie to help him find the source…
I hope that the cigarette that Van is always is smoking is really vaping rather than her smoking real tobacco. If she is vaping, that would answer the question I read earlier when someone asked where the tobacco is coming from.
The food is apparently not all beans, but that’s what the people have been getting from whoever is distributing it. The people in charge and special agents get steaks and other desirable food as benefits of their positions, according to Flask. If Jacob doesn’t have as much authority as we think, who does have the authority?

Oh! They legalized eggs and dairy! The very thing that got Holly and Maudie and Linda locked up!

Well Jacob, going to find the source and send it into that cave from Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

What Jacob’s going to do adds a whole new meaning to “rabbit hunt”….except the hunter is a rabbit.

This IS interesting. For once I find myself agreeing with the rabbit. Someone’s out to keep the Trix from the kids.

So they’re countering a report of a cover up with a cover up? That’ll work well.

Countering lies with the truth can work. But one must do it the way the propagandists are. Low key and unobtrusive.

Actually, you know who also knows about the food stores? Flask. And Walt. And the security rats.

Maybe someone is using the “food shortage” scam to get the pigs to donate their bodies for the good of the community.

Yes, lets ignore the whole civil war issue.

Legalize pork? Eggs and milk….that’s one thing. But pork? No. Practically Soylent Green.
Erwin Schwartz over 7 years ago
Re COFFEETURTLE Jacob mentions protein cake, that is eerily similar to protein disks from Soylent Green. Maybe Sowlent green isn’t so far fetched.

They must have a heck of a stockpile of tobacco, too, to supply VanderWeasel and others their smokes.

You mean the press is crooked. No way. That is so sad that you can’t trust the press.
