Excellent art from Shelley once again. Medium shot, closeup and long shot, all well done. The silhouettes are effective and I like the shadow/reflection under Sam’s feet.
This is a good move on Sam’s part. When he feels very frustrated and angry, a walk will help him to gain control of his emotions and feel better. I would feel the same way if my families resting places were vandalized. Sam will return feeling better.
Okay, can all of the $10,000 be recovered? For instance, does the landlord need to return the back rent? Do the Margies still have the rest of the money?
A nice touch would be a delayed award of the $10,000 contest prize (by check this time!) to the winner, presented by Svengoolie.
As Middle Margie is calming down, resigned now to her capture, the pangs of remorse (the “agenbite of inwit,” as Joyce put it, the anguish of conscience) have lead her to plead on behalf of Little Margie, who is “harmless, like a kid” in her phrasing.
Meanwhile, Sam copes with his emotions after being goaded by Big Bigot Margie….
It seems to me that the only question now is, will the new story start on Sunday, or on Monday? Or might we have a week of filler and start the new story on the following Sunday?
Late in the day, and probably no one will notice. But I really likeDonald Heller ‘s comment above! Yes, Mike has played the Jew hater card to the hilt with Big Margie, but the introduction of that thread – by itself – doesn’t make much sense in this story. (Heck, one of you even commented weeks ago that perhaps the cemetery vandalism was simply a plot device to help Tracy catch them!) Burying the cash in the cemetery would make this a very interesting story, indeed!

No doubt Sam had real ideas of killing her. He could have done and got away with it. Glad he didn’t.

Yeah, it’s over! ZZZzzz.

Sam is wise to take a time out and regain control of his emotions.

Can’t blame him for being angry. I’d be furious, too, if my relatives’ graves were vandalized.

Don’t look, Dick and Sam, but both Margies are driving awayin your police car!
Crowmeus over 7 years ago
That’s probably uniformed officers driving the car. Sam and Tracy are probably in am unmarked car.

WOT was that? Please give us a new storyline that makes more sense. Moon vampires from Jupiter or something more understandable. Just no more Margies.

I was hoping they’d pull a Rudy Seton and have Sven implicated in the crime somehow.

I think the cemetery was not “vandalized”, but is a stash for stolen money. The story line is not over yet!

Any idea when Joe is due back?

Little Margie is the only one walking away clean from this sorry storyline.

I’d say he could “accidentally” bump Big Margie’s head on the way into the car, but given how short she is that would be pretty hard.
