This wouldn’t have happened if Uncle Joe was packing.

    .

Real bad luck on timing of this strip.

Similar to a common problem in Prickly City; daily comics have to be submitted something like two weeks in advance, hence the unintentional faux pas, like today.

A panda walks into a restaurant, sits down and orders a sandwich. After he finishes eating the sandwich, the panda pulls out a gun and shoots the waiter, and then stands up to go. “Hey!” shouts the manager. “Where are you going? You just shot my waiter and you didn’t pay for your sandwich!”

The panda yells back at the manager, “Hey man, I am a PANDA! Look it up!”

The manager opens his dictionary and sees the following definition for panda: “A tree-dwelling marsupial of Asian origin, characterised by distinct black and white colouring. Eats shoots and leaves.”

If Pastis could have worked their/there/they’re and to/too/two into the strip it would have been a hat trick.

I’m probably being unreasonable but I wish some people would use punctuation.

Also, I can’t stand those who ends a sentence with a full stop and begins a new sentence with a lower case letter instead of a capital one.

Friend of mine has a poster outside his English classroom indicating that punctuation, as evidenced here, can save lives. “Let’s eat, Grandma!” is not at all the same thing as “Let’s eat Grandma!”
