Do station wagons still have tailgates? I remember the ones from the 60s that could fold out flat, or open like a door. The window could either roll down or flip up like a canopy.

My 1967 122s SW has a 2 part tail gate. Half raises up, bottom half goes down flat. Very practical.

The man has darn little fur to begin with, losing his tail is CATastrophic! (see what I did there?)
