I’m with The Man on this one, his expression is very close to my own when romances are shown. Though that is the cutest dang vampire I’ve seen in a long time.
I’ve seen too many monster movies, I recognized the Gary Oldman Dracula on sight. Interesting movie, though my reactions were often similar to the Man’s. I prefer Bela Lugosi or maybe Christopher Lee, myself.
Georgia never ceases to amaze. The expressions (especially Lupin’s) made me laugh even though I don’t understand the last panel. I resemble the man’s expression in the last panel. “De gustibus non est disputandem.”
I’m recalling a cute filk song—and trying to remember all the words—about a kitten out for the night, who encounters a vampire down on his luck. The kitten has watched horror flicks with her person, and knows what’s happened, but doesn’t end up liking the streets. So she comes home, hides in her litter box all day, and comes out to bite her human’s toes at night. Her human hopes she’ll grow out of this phase. BUT! Vampire kittens never grow old . . .
For all of us who adore our rescue pets. California’s governor has just signed a bill requiring pet stores to sell only rescue animals from shelters or non-profit rescue operations! This could be the beginning of the end for the horrid puppy mills and kitten factories!
Any walk-in bookstores in northern Indiana carrying BCN products? We’re old-fashioned folk. Would love the calendar & a book for our vet’s office. South Bend area preferable. Thanks!
I think Georgia did an excellent job conveying an entire movie to us in two panels. True, we’ve all been exposed to romantic vampire movies, but still… And, the boys are hilarious :)

Love the casual way Elvis is fending off Lupin. He is obviously used to Lupin’s pounces.

I like panel two with Elvis cowering behind the woman. Or protecting her from behind, as I am sure Elvis would call it.

Of course, Puck has a natural affinity for bats, what with their close resemblance to ‘flying Pucks’.

Question: How are you able to pin the Man down to watch those kind of movies? Please share your secret! Hubby needs a wakey-wakey!

Traditionally, ‘cold-blooded killer’ and ‘gentleman’ are perfectly compatible.

When it comes to horror movies, I prefer the classics. I especially like giant monsters like King Kong and Godzilla. (Rest in peace, Haruo Nakajima.)
