It would be fun If Gunther answers the door.

This could be the middle of the day.

It could be early evening.

But the most important timing?

It’s a Saturday.

Apparently after taking a commercial charity break yesterday, Luann and Bernice have returned to the argument only to find that they think they were arguing over whether Bernice would be jealous of Luann handing Tiffany that card. Sorry ladies. You were arguing over the lingerie party invite.

Good luck with cheering up the Tiffster Luann. I hope you deliver and she appreciates the “fragile, messy love” from the kids at Kids First.

But I suspect Tiff is nowhere near cured yet….

Okay. Tiffany HAS a “True Best Friend.” You two sent Him over to see Her. His Name Is Gunther. He was and still IS Your “True Best Friend,” Luann.

But I digress. Luann and Bern, If You two go to see Tiffany and present Her that card, and talk to Her, She’ll have two more “TRUE FRIENDS.”

And If You convince Tiffany to return to work, She’ll have a whole class room full of very young “True Friends.”

On that note, what has Crystal been up to lately

Gunther answers the door, wearing boxers, and has bed head.

Tomorrow Luann will sit-up in bed and realize it’s all been a dream.

Or better she’ll sit-up and realize she’s Bob Newhart .

Aw, I love messy kid’s art. Tiffany, if you don’t want to keep it, give it to me. I have a 2 year old grandson and I love his art – which are just doodles but very colorful.

With Bernice’s track record, she might not be joking.

Nice set-up for the discovery that “poor, rich Tiffany” does indeed have a best friend, by the name of Gunther! Now the question is whether they will be happy for her, as today’s togetherness moment would suggest, or whether the discovery will trigger more jealousy and insecurities?

I am hoping Tiffany can see what the card is and who it is from before she closes the door on them like she did last time. Better have the card out to where she can see it as soon as she opens the door.

That little flashback cloud of them shows how family-friendly this stripwas…once.

Maybe Tiff prefers fat,messy love now.

Shows that with a spat, it takes only one person to let go of being right .

Huh? Those two never had a real problem with friendship. I am sure the Tara new friendship relationship is not going to be a real issue in Luann’s and Bernice’s BFF. As far as Tiffany is concerned, I hope the card will be a good thing for her. She needs some good things in her life. Pox on all the snark on these posts! This troll tendency is non-scientific proof that many people get off more on finding some issue, like Tiffany deserves her pain because she is narcissistic, or wishing for “more” with fevered hope in a friendship between two women than trying to see something good. What sad lives they must have. Human Nature is never a liar.

Yesterday, the cartoon characters were speaking directly to me. Today, they are not. Was it something that I said?

On the one hand, Bernie needed to remember that their worlds are getting bigger than just “she and Luann”.

On the other hand, Lu should remember to not just make assumptions, which could potentially “freeze out” her best friend, unintentionally.

But, on the third hand (had to borrow somebody else’s), some people are probably in need of a friend, and maybe could use one, right now ……

Just give Tiffany the card and stop talking!!

Whatever happened to Crystal? She and Tiffany used to be pretty tight. And Tiffany had proven to be a social animal, helping Gunther, showing a very friendly and charming side to Gunther’s mom and Mr. Grey. But her inability to deal with her father’s new love interest and the pressures of college were too much. I hope Gunther can help her, Tiffany is actually one of my favorite characters in this strip.

Bern’s attitude is starting to Burn me up!

Bern is so boring. She could make hell freeze over.
