I’m seeing a bit more of Joe Staton’s pencilling style peeking through, particularly in Honeymoon’s face today.

So, Honeymoon is done with the Christmas shopping for Mr. Bribery’s gift…. There’s something very unexpected about that whole situation.

Can I,

Can I see your horns

Feel them

Touch them

Can they be worn

Crystal,

Crystal you’re such a creep

Or you’ll be in a heap

Too close and your day won’t last

They call them horns and the sort of are horns, but they are like antenna as well. I bet they concentrate and channel energy present in our atmosphere.

Can I…can I see your face??

Open unless you want to blast off into space!!!

Yes. Yes, you can. In fact, we all can! Maybe you mean “touch” and “experience” them?

So far, I think Crystal’s* actions seem mostly innocent, if a bit naive. But if Honeymoon learns that “uncle” means “Mr. Bribery,” there will be some changes made, on both sides.

(*Most people call her Ugly Crystal.)

How’s this for a sitcom plot: Crystal’s uncle and Honeymoon’s “aunt” are both single and (as far as we know) unattached. Those two wacky tweens set them up on a blind date, not realizing that the two once had a “relationship” which didn’t end well. They meet, and hijinks ensue. LOL!

If she makes that mistake we will see her eyes very well when her hair sticks out from the static charge.
