Ha, hahahaha, hahahahahaha. You think they care about the press, or what they have to say?

Hear that Rupert Murdoch is buying up “The Daily Fang”. Wonder what “fake news” he’ll allow to be printed?

A thought – was it necessary to kill wolves wholesale? Aren’t riots usually solved by putting most of the rioters in jail? How many of those wolves were otherwise husbands and fathers whose loss will put their families in peril? I hold no brief for the mass hysteria that’s been happening, but we really need to start hearing the other side of the story.

Yes, the people cowering in their homes as the wolves paraded Heather’s corpse will be sympathetic.

Who told the rats this was a revolution?? A violent demonstration but far from a revolution. What intel have they or some one been evaluating?

When the American Indian Movement (AIM) occupied the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Washington in protest, burning some things and making a mess in general, they stayed until Nixon called in the US Army Rangers. As soon as the AIM members (some of whom were former US Army) saw the Rangers in the area, they “declared victory” and went home. The Rangers do not play well with others. They take prisoners only when they need them for something. It is their avowed job to break things and hurt people. They are very, very good at it, too. So the Rats are like a poor man’s imitation Rangers. They shoot to kill, no questions asked. When the rats show up it is time to “declare victory” and go home – quickly.

How many wolves are left enough to be outraged? Once the pigs ran out no other creature is truly safe. Just how many carnivores will stand with them? That’s to be seen for sure. I am almost convinced the puppet master of the wolves is a shrew or badger

The Daily Fang is the lesser of two presses in Endtown. And Endtown is not a very big town.

All the while, a pig may have been murdered during the mayhem to become food. Remember the strip where the one pig received a phone call and was looking at a phial of poison or a strong knockout drug. The riot was a great diversion to allow an even greater crime to be committed. The cannibals have struck and they had the perfect cover to do their dirty work.

Oh…dear. We’ve already seen how the rats feel about making an enemy of the press. They kicked the door in and machine-gunned the offices of the Daily Examiner back in 2010 (our time). http://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2010/10/12

Can’t wait to see if Dottie can exert any kind of authority now. It’s pretty clear (to us readers) who is really in charge of The Daily Fang…

In the first panel, there are a number of wolves lying around that could help with any “food shortage” that the pigs were being hassled over. Also, a few less bellies will need filling.

the thing is, the rats kind of ARE sociopathic mass murderers, I think that’s why they’re normally kept separate from the rest of the town

Not saying I’m going to stop reading this comic, but its not the same as it was when it started. It was cute, funnyish, had a story line I cared about and was intriguing, had mystery, ….its been very dark for so long. I don’t really care about the characters anymore. All the ones we all did care about…where are they?
