After a single successful year, the Cubs will get to continue an entirely new century of futility! This is why being a Cubs fan has made me strong. I was so inured to failure, that anything that was even a minuscule success was wonderful!

As I look out my office window at the two inches of snow in the yard and the 1F temperature (Ashland, VA, just north of Richmond), I’m reminded why I tolerate this time of year. Wednesday I drop by the Richmond Flying Squirrels (AA ball) office to talk about my block of season tickets for this year.
