Technically it is AGW or Anthropogenic Global Warming which is where the climate change comes in. And there are stories of hairy humanoids of many sizes all over the world. On every continent but Antarctica. And the Ye-ti live above the treeline, but hunt below it. There are others that have been identified;
MichĆŖ (Tibetan: ą½ą½²ą¼ą½ą¾²ą½ŗą½ą¼, Wylie: mi dred, ZYPY: MichĆŖ) translates as āman-bearā.91114Dzu-teh ā ādzuā translates as ācattleā and the full meaning translates as ācattle bearā, referring to the Himalayan brown bear.811121516Migoi or Mi-go (Tibetan: ą½ą½²ą¼ą½¢ą¾ą½¼ą½ą¼, Wylie: mi rgod, ZYPY: Migƶ/Mirgƶ) translates as āwild manā.1216
I just realized that Eddie actually has a witness to confirm where heās been and what heās done. That cat is always on his shoulder. And if Danaeās horse can talk, then so can kitty.
Well, technically, the Himalayas ARE south of the north poleā¦ā¦.Come on Flo, how about a little Irish coffee for Eddie?ā¦.I want to hear the rest of the storyā¦I also want to see what a Wiley Yeti looks likeā¦..Does he have a pet Wiley Bear? Does he mess with Pierre of the North? Drinking buddies?
Republicans: āThereās no global warming. Look how cold it is outside.ā Meanwhile, 117 degrees in Sydney, Australia a couple of days ago. Streets were melting.
For the climate change deniers ā particularly those who, stupidly, point to the frigid storms that just pummeled the Northeast coast as a _sure _ sign that thereās no global warning, may I explain that those severe storms and temperature were indeed caused by changes in the oceans and atmosphere.
The Great Lakes are proof there were white males driving SUVās in the distant past to melt the glacier to create the gouges that filled with glacier melt that became known as ālakes.ā
The world is changing, whether we humans acknowledge it or not. The āthingsā that climatologists indicate that we could alter to slow Climate Change (NOT Global Warming!!) would also make our lives more pleasant and comfortable, regardless of whether it would help our great-great-great grandchildren to survive! Letās try to make our planet a nicer place for US and to āheckā with the survival of our progeny!
An illustrative anecdote, if you will:50 years ago, travel along any highway in northeastern Oklahoma and you would see dead tortoises, rabbits and opossums alongside the roadway. Nowadays you see more and more armadillos, whose range was once restricted to the southern parts of Texas. Thatās a practical example of the effects of āclimate changeā. That is also a story from long-term, personal experience, by the way!

And the swallows that I saw at San Juan Capistrano as a kid, that returned the same day every year? They now summer at a resort 60 miles north.
