Well, happy ending for Crystal, whom I’m betting Junior adopts, and continues as a sidekick to Honeymoon….nice storyline twist!

It looks like Ugly Crystal wants no part of Uncle Bribery… And T-Bolt/Lee’s identity is safe for now…

Bribery’s ring might not have an effect on lead bullets…

WOW….seems Bribery’s ring has a new power….it can emit electric blasts even more powerful than a Lunarian

Ugly Crystal is not going to stick around and be caught by the police and I don’t think she wants to see if Uncle Bribery will carry though on the killing threat.

I thought the ring is for defensive purposes only. From waht I see, it also have offensive capabilities.

Crystal wanted to be loyal to her uncle. It looks like she saw what kind of person he really is, and decided (rightfully, in my opinion) to leave him. I don’t know if Junior or the Plentys will adopt her; I do hope it’s someone who can give her a more positive upbringing.

Glitch bails – easy out for Lee. "Ugly Crystal* bails – another easy out for Lee. The big twist here is the very real possibility at this point that Bribery will take himself and the two Lunarians to their deaths on the moon!

Pequod, we need a stirring composition to tie up the loose ends of this exciting development.

Don’t you just love it when a years-in-the-making dirty plan all comes apart at the seams?

Steady on, there, Smiley – you kill them, you lose your navigator. (GPS only covers Earth, y’know…)

Bribery is much more mentally out of control compared to the mid 1960’s. The intervening half century has not been kind.

I’m getting dizzy reading this strip over the last few days

Lee never told Tracy that she was bringing Crystal to safety. In fact, the communications STOPPED once Glitch entered the room so I don’t know where he got his information from. Unless the “Lee, are you there?” comment was replied to when Lee left the room and ASSUMED Crystal was getting to safety.

By the way does anyone ELSE recall Sawtooth saying he never met Tracy, yet when they DID meet face to face Tracy spoke as if they had known eachother previously?

And Sawtooth is incorrect, Bribery DIDN’T want Tracy to die slowly and painfully, in fact… he wanted Tracy killed outright but conceded to Sawtooth’s plan instead.

And suddenly Sawtooth has a partner? When he came into town I don’t recall him having a partner.. unless its ANOTHER one of those “well it happened off panel, do you REALLY need to see EVERYTHING that happens” kind of things.. which makes no sense…. Bribery paid for SAWTOOTH, not Sawtooth and company.

Oh, and theres NO WAY Tracy would have known it was Sawtooth who abducted him because they came up from BEHIND him with the chloroform and sedated him before taping him to a tree.

Also, Ugly Crystal wouldn’t be brought up on ANY charges, since she hasn’t done anything illegal… yet, so theres no need for her to run. If ANYTHING the only thing she’s done wrong is NOT telling Tracy about Bribery’s plans, and that’s HARDLY a punishable ‘crime’

a LOT of inconsistencies in this story, and I can hear that train whistle in the distance getting closer and closer

I haven’t read this story carefully, but I agree with a lot of what TSUll says. Do the moon people have special powers? Who is going what to whom in panel 2?

Sorry guys, these newer plots, characters, drawing,( although very well done) just don’t have the “karma” the 1940’s-50’s (especially comic books) had. Of course I’m 73 yrs old and have all the comics I had as a kid for comparison.

Black Canary evading the police – it’s 1947 all over again! LOL

Crystal wanted to warn Uncle Bribery about the cops; then, she saw Bribery venting his insanity against Mysta, brought to her knees already, and Moon Governor, bent with pain. So, in a moment of instant decision, Crystal decides that what she has just seen is not for her, and neither any longer is Uncle Bribery. And so she splits (though how she got out without being noticed or apprehended by the police is problematic). Meanwhile, when are Tracy and Sam going to get to Bribery? Or will he escape with his two hostages, only to meet a grim fate later?

I’m surprised that Christine didn’t help the Lunerians before she cut out.

Maybe she’ll hookup with Honeymoon somewhere (like the Mall).
