Maybe she needs the help desk to show her how to turn pages faster. This has been around a long time, but if you haven’t seen it, it’s worth the time for a pretty good chuckle:
I use to work third shift and I’d try to keep the same schedule even on my days off and even now, years later, I find it easy to loose track of time at night and stay up through the night.
I get sucked into books, unless they’re very sucky or I’ve read them before. So I’ve made a point of only starting new books by authors I like in the middle of the day and stick to short stories or well known books for relaxing reading.
Otherwise about the time it starts getting light I can’t keep at it….

Opal must be a heavy reader and light sleeper

I haven’t pulled that since I was a teenager and the books were written on rolls of paper.

Just call me Opal! This is what I do several times a week – including last night. Being retired has its perks

For me the opposite is true. I read a lot in the middle of the night because I can’t sleep. Believe me I’d much rather be snoring!

“When did it get to be 6 AM”? A question that answers itself.

Finding a book that really interests you is rare and you just can’t stop reading , what bliss.

I’ve done this but luckily now I don’t have to get up if I don’t want to.
