This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I reached for my reading glasses in the supermarket and couldn’t find them. Searched purse, pockets, but nothing. So I thought I had left them in the last store I’d been in, way the other side of the mall. Trekked all the way back (and I have a bad leg) and asked if they’d been found. The clerk said, “I’m not trying to be funny, but are these them?”, tapping the glasses I’d tucked into the neck of my shirt. Exit very embarrassed person, laughing but very red!
My wife cannot abide putting things in the same location every day, so she wastes time looking for them. The most annoying one is her lunch bag, because I make her lunch in the mornings. Last week, she left the bag in our home office, which isn’t even on the same floor as the kitchen.
One day my father was looking for his glasses. But he didn’t tell me or my brother he was looking for them. He spent an hour searching the house (both floors) before I finally figured out he was searching for something. He told me then he was looking for his glasses. I asked if he looked on top of his head (there were there the entire time.)

I keep my glasses on my nightstand. As for sunglasses, in my fanny pack which is hung by the front door.

That’s why I have a pair of glasses in every single room! And half the time, I STILL can’t find a pair.

Glasses on the top of your head is always fun. “OK, I had them just a minute ago, where are they?”

I lose my purse, glasses and keys on a regular basis, so easy to relate. Pickles is always good for a laugh.

I have reading glasses stashed every where—-in my purse, car, and every room in the house! Saves me a lot of grief.

I wish that they would stop cutting the comics in half.
