Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Is Lupin holding a clothespin in panel 3? An unlit torch or flashlight? I’m gonna go with clothespin since it’s drawn like the ones in the last panel.
Notice the great difference in how all the cats describe the experience: hard-fact-Elvis: “Lupin fell down a laundry chute or some nonsense,” Feature reporter Puck: “Lupin has tumbled through a tiny door,” and the ever adventurous Lupin: “I’m in a subterranean level never before known to cats!” You can really see their personalities and varying styles of reporting in how they describe events. :D
Careful Lupin. Those weird People machines behind you are first cousins to vacuum cleaners and very dangerous to cats. Don’t climb in one to explore it.
Good morning and Happy Thursday (Purrsday) to all orbsters and orbabies. I will be out of touch tomorrow and Saturday, don’t worry about me, I simply won’t have access to comments, assuming I can read the comics on my cell phone!
I have a hospice job today. Those are not my favorite.
I much prefer jobs where i can do something for someone in there day to day tasks of living. With hospice, the best that you can say for the job is that you are just trying to make the person as comfortable as possible.
Don’t get me wrong, hospice is an incredibly important program, and i have the greatest respect for those that do hospice work on a regular basis. I just prefer to help people that are going on with life, not with people waiting for an inevitable end.
Hospice hurts, helping the disabled gives me happiness.
Those green socks remind me that I haven’t seen a comment on the March BCN calendar. There is a banner on the wall with a rainbow and a pot of gold. The tablecloth is green with darker green shamrocks. Elvis is peering over the edge of the table wearing a deely bobber on his head with two small green pompoms (in a thumbnail below he is shaking his paws at the heavens— or the Woman— in outrage.) Puck is on the table in a green sweater (with shamrocks) so thick he can’t move his paws. The Woman is holding a scowling Lupin (his tail is twitching) dressed in a green and black vertically striped outfit with a green top hat. She is wearing a deely bobber with clouds, a rainbow, and green, um, feathers, which is a good thing, because her own blouse has broad, horizontal stripes in white and yellow, not green. She is laughing, even if her Boys are not. It is completely adorable.

Puck’s as adorable as ever in panel 4 and Lupin’s ecstatic about toasty socks, nothing like warm laundry

Socks on a clothesline will be neither warm nor dry, most likely.

“…And now, to tear them all to shreds!”

Ok, that’s pretty sad for Lupin

Sometimes I do laundry just to watch Josette play on it. Cleanliness is next to catliness . . .

How can lupin hear the other two cats’ comments if he cant read their whiskers?

I just realized, how is Lupin able to understand Elvis and Puck without a teleprompter? He’s deaf after all.
Nuliajuk about 7 years ago
Why would the socks need to be hung up if they were warm from the dryer?
KL about 7 years ago
The final panel, with Lupin and the warm jungle of socks, made me smile, LOL, and nearly perish from adorableness.

How does Lupin hear Puck from where he is? Isn’t Lupin deaf?
