Ghost never stood a ghost of a chance? I’m going to try to post my storyline summary later today. It’s been very hectic for me lately with some important deadlines in my life and Easter weekend as well.
The upcoming Minit Mystery should intersti g art-wise. Charles Ettinger, who did the last one, told us that his style was similar to Joe Staton’s, but John Lucas has a very differe t style. Have a look at these examples:
So how long will it be before we learn that repeated exposure to blowfish toxin made Ghost Peppers resistant enough to man-o-war venom to survive the encounter, albeit in a deep coma simulating death . . .
The problem I had with this story is that they get an interesting criminal set up, but no background and no real in depth criminal scheme. A little too fast of a story and a wrap up. Should have given us more of Ghost and a lot less of the moon maiden bribery nonsense. That seems to have gone on forever.
So assuming the same format as the last Minit Mystery, this will last from Sunday to the next Sunday, which is April 8. What day is the Vista Bill tribute?
Can someone please let Chief detective Tracy know that someone who’s always getting knocked out, dragged around, tied up, etc is a few circuits short of Brainiac status!
I second Bwahaha comments. Moon Maid got old in mid sixties, and Bribery’s original story was much too long. Time for the retirement home. More Phishface or at least something new
Like some other commentators, I kinda wish we had seen a little more of Ghost & whatever scheme he was involved in, & a little more detective work from Tracy, instead of spending 2 weeks or so on a protracted & somewhat contrived sequence involving Ghost & Pierre on the run following the sequence in the woods (which was some of the best work Joe & Mike have done in years). Here’s hoping the new Minute Mystery is better than the last one,
A little wrap-up, with some clever background tidbits (panel 1), and a ‘smart’ remark by Tracy in panel 2 that could could come back to bite him! Plus, notice of the new Minit Mystery scheduled to occupy Easter week.

So true about Pierre, Tracy. What a dummy for going back to the restaurant. 9 parts greed and 1 part brain.

Ghost got exactly what he deserved for dragging poor Tracy through the snow!

As cops are prone to say, “We don’t catch the smart ones”.

So, will Tracy be curious as to how Ghost Pepper wound up at the aquarium? Will he trace the hacked key card back to Phishface?

I want Manuel to become a regular character, but I’m not sure how.

The irony is, as word of this gets around it’ll probably increase business for the aquarium when the exhibit opens.

Umm… Tracy- you haven’t met a smart criminal yet, because they’re too smart to get caught by you. I’m surprised you haven’t figured that out yet!

Tracy hasn’t visited Washington, DC!

Good job depicting a Staff of Asclepius instead of the oft-used / mistaken Caduceus on the ambulance!
