“The earliest known tax records, dating from approximately six thousand years B.C., are in the form of clay tablets found in the ancient city-state of Lagash (I now know where BC lives)
The first curse word was invented when the first man first stood up right, slipped and fell on his face. It was immortalized in a cave drawing and thus the first Comics were born. No one knows what the curse word was, but everyone understands the context.
My “longhand” was ruined by taking copious fast notes in college. In the workplace, I began printing so others could actually read my messages. Now “cursive” is being ignored by the younger masses in favor or printing. Just for grins and spite (I have a public service job), I’ve returned to using my (now improved) longhand for certain historical documents and notes. I’m thinking that in the near future millennials will need an interpreter to decode my handwriting. Heh Heh!
Once, my third grader came home and said “So-and-so got in trouble for saying the ‘K’ word today!” “K-Word? What the heck is the ‘K’ word?” He wouldn’t say it. To this day I still have no idea…

Given that they seem to be an autonomous collective, I wonder who’s collecting taxes and what they’re being used for.
