How dare the people sleep when kitties everywhere are starving! The indignity of it all!

Time for the alarm cats to go off!

Alright Elvis – it’s time to shift into crisis mode, step on the Peoples’ heads and then stare at them intently until they get up and feed their starving cats. If that doesn’t work, then it may be time to peel their eyelids back then let them snap back into place. Needs must.

Frankly, I’m surprised Elvis even had the strength to drag himself into the bedroom and jump on the bed.

Puck you’ve never seen anything like it and I hope you never do again. It’s totally unacceptable. Cats everywhere are outraged at what you’ve having to endure.

Elvis, what I see is that the Woman is looking very … unpregnant right now.

No question today, just asking people to consider subscribing to BCN to help it get to 10,000 followers. It is getting close to 9,000. At the current pace though it could take until the end of the year to get to 10,000.

7:31? That’s a whole minute late! Boys, get those slaves out of bed and filling food bowls.

And on a Saturday, too – the people need to get it together!

This is totally unacceptable! Ring the SPCA! How dare the People feed our precious starving boys late! ;-)

Breakfast o’clock is always early around here …. but today at least there is a fairy tale wedding to watch …. so Ta Ta for the nonce!

BCN is such a delightful comic. Georgia is a gifted artist. The water color like style and the warm loving story lines are very pleasant. I grew up with a cat and have had cats most of my life. But not the last few years.BCN allows me to enjoy cats without the furniture destruction, fur balls, yowling, etc. but still see the good parts.

Where cats are involved, it’s typically the other way round. Where cats are involved, hooliganism is off the charts.

[ p.s. — Who, in god’s name, actually sleeps that late?! ]

. . . our mob has already been fed, so we are watching the royal wedding in relative peace. Beautiful! :)

Been glued to the wedding now for 4 hours. Congratulations to all of you who have a new Duchess.

Hubby got up early too to run his first 5k. I think he left while the future Duchess was disembarking her limo. Hope he fed the cats.

I’ve got to show this to my trio…“see, guys, other kittehs actually wait until after 7AM to bug their hoominz…”

EVERY. FRIGGIN. MORNING.

“These maniacs are out of control” snerk… that is just too much. What are you gonna do about it Elvis?? What?!? HA! (runs and hides)

Then there’s Cat Social Hour (approx. 2 am) when your cat wakes you up to fill the kibble dish. Or just because.

Wedding? The only thing on teevee today that’s worth watching is the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown. As to the ‘empty food bowl’ problem—the two feline mistresses aren’t allowed upstairs, which is where the bedroom is. But they’ve had brekkie and are now prepared to snooze Caturday away until the 4PM arrival of Cat O’clock.

Empty food bowls or not. When they get filled up I pet pushed out of the way or used as a ladder to get to the bowls because well they are cats after all. Then when they all get there they look at me and saunter back into the kitchen and howl for canned food. Then try to herd me into the kitchen for said food to be served right meow.

BWHAHAHA! This is my guys, too, except they also threaten to call the ASPCA on me.

Well, I looked back at the original, and started reading them. I think we see the first caption at the bottom of the screen in the one about pineapple.

My cat gets wet food twice a day. Breakfast is usually around 5-6am, depending on when I wake up. Then I go back to bed with no yowling cat wanting breakfast. Dinner’s around 9ish, when I get my ice cream.

My first thought was that the bedspread had muddy pawprints… but these three are indoor only. Must just be the suggestion of a pattern.

Wait, how are the boys bothering their hoo-mans if they are currently on location, in Australia, with the crew from Bushy Tales?

When I am late getting up, my cat becomes all concerned and checks to see whether I have died in my sleep. So far, so good!
