On a different note, to all fathers who visit Happy Father’s Day. To everyone, fathers included as you are sons after all (well hopefully your sons), if you can spend time with your father today, try to do so. If not, try giving him a phone call or an email and wish him a Happy Father’s Day if he’s still around. Or still a part of your life.

Careful, kids and kittens! They’ve made more horror movies based on those last three words…

YAY! I feel as if I’ve been waiting 42 months for this one to reappear! And so glad we won’t have to wait out Georgia’s maternity leave this time around.

After I retired one of the things I hoped to never see again was another Venn diagram, until this one appeared. It is my all time favorite Venn diagram.

A Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Mine is coming over for a BBQ – little brother has already said he may not make it but we’ll see. It’s supposed to hit about 30C so I’ll have to hook up my portable AC unit or we’ll all be melting

I love the stuffed animals! Elvis has it right – make nice to them, at least. The toddler will grow up to be a zoologist or biologist, I hope. What a wonderful world they all live in. The baby will live a life of joy just as her brother is living. Bet the man will never contradict the woman again. : ) Best he not.

That’s funny – we frequently refer to Saxon as “the FCT”. FCT being “fur covered toddler”.

Happy Pappy Dey, as my beloved Faddah ust to sey, to all Fathers everywhere. I miss you, Dad; tho you’d be 101 this Oct 27, I’d love to have you here with us.

Wonder if Elvis is nesting…maybe something in his subconscious knows there’s about to be a new Baby. That’s what happened when my niece was about to give birth to Baby #2. Her boy cat Zanzibar gathered up all his toys & arranged them in a neat “nest” in one of the closets!

Alas, things didn’t go so well after that. Once Baby #2 came home, Zanzibar kind of freaked out. He became destructive & started bullying his older sisfur Zoe, so he had to be rehomed. He’s now enjoying life as an only cat in a Baby-free home. =^..^=

The weird part is that as wrong as the charts are, the charts always make sense too.

Spoiler alert—one of my all- time favorite strips coming up this week.

I have often sighed “Who needs kids? We’ve got furry toddlers already!” when cleaning up a mess or separating bickering kitties.

Alice – was just perusing posts and responses, and was confused by yours yesterday. Then, I had a thought, and I want to make sure you know, YOUR post did not prompt mine, AT ALL!!

Mine was a general post, and yes, it was prompted by a specific individual post earlier that day. No real need to go back into it. I just want to reassure you, should you need it, that I have no problem with posts regarding WWII, or anything else you’ve posted that I’m aware of, and have no idea why anyone would. Hey Folks of the Mega Orb! I’d like to post a little bit more another day, about myself, and thoughts and love boops and all about others. :-) (((((((((((Mega Orb))))))))))))

For now, I am making it through a busy day, and hope all others are having the best day for them! I know that sometimes these holidays are more bitter than sweet, depending on one’s life circumstances.

Thank you, you are right. “Family” can be made. And, something I keep in mind, is to pay attention to ALL the cards I’ve been dealt, and choose carefully from those cards still available. ;-)

Can’t wait for the Baby girl to arrive and help the Toddler boy tear things up with the boys. Talk about a lot of ideas for new strips. And we have barely got started with the cats upstairs and outside. Lots to look forward to.
