As Muffin looks disdainfully at the mail. Muffin is disdainful of everything, after all, that is what the Muffin does.

Sad when the cat is higher up the scratching post than you are.

What mail are you expecting, Earl, the utility bill giving you a notice saying you’re late to pay it?

He was hoping for a missive from Capital One!

Sometimes even junk mail shows that you exist in someone’s mind!

Earl only gets bills…

I didn’t know that cats get groomed.

I got a sympathy card from the vet when my cat died.

I get mail at my house addressed to people who do not live with me. i.e.: My ex-husband’s wife, my grandchildren, my dog (who died 5 years ago). At least I know that the mail carrier has not forgotten my house.

Now, that’s cold :(

Well, there is one from a Crematory.

I maintain a mailing address back in the States for tax purposes. It’s been interesting over the past 5 years to watch the decrease in personal mail, that comes to my box.

I used to call and check my mail, at least once a week, or my postal drop would email me, when my box was full.

Now it can be months before there’s any mail, and when I do call, ( about every couple of months ), there’s usually just circulars a junk mail.

The folks at the postal drop are great about emailing me if there’s anything of importance – a rare occurrence, lately.

For more than 10 years after he died I’d still get life insurance policy offers addressed to him. I don’t know why I didn’t sign him up. Well, actually it was easy to see that the insurance didn’t work now, did it? He’s still dead.
