I remember a Rifftrax bit where they were pointing at the part of “Lord of the Rings” where Sam is trying to drag Gollum along on a leash with the latter screaming and whining and protesting all the way. One of them mentioned “This is only slightly more enjoyable than walking your cat!”

3. One of my cats actually likes being walked on a leash. But I wouldn’t take him very far from home on a leash, as encountering dogs is inadvisable – I wouldn’t let him get hurt, but the safest option, of picking him up, is rather less safe for me (hint: no danger from the dogs, dogs love me, but kitty is likely to express his concerns in terms of claws)… ;s

Ellie bought the retractable leash at a yard sale, thinking that it was for cats because there was a cat on it.

This leash is sold with a large sized collar for a human, along with those fake kitty ears.
