I thought the Woman looked pretty sleepy in the first panel. I’ve fallen asleep during a few British mysteries myself, especially as they always tended to show them late at night.
Lupin is in grave danger of getting sucked into the story . . . There he goes! No wait, he’s back! Luckily, the Woman falling asleep distracted him. Puck, I’m afraid, is lost. We won’t see him again.
Not until the show is over.
(It’s not permanent, it’s just a show, everybody relax)!
falling asleep under a warm, fuzzy blanket, a kitty curled up next to you, british mysteries as white noise in the background .. yawn .. getting .. sleeeepy ..
Right now I’m typing this after dinner with She-Who-Orders-The-Household asleep and purring on my knee, and a fuzzy blanket because it’s winter here in Briszzzzzz
Good morning and happy Tuesday/Mewsday, orbsters and orbabies. Paul’s visit with the chemotherapy oncologist went well yesterday. Today he gets his stomach tube implanted.
It’s been a busy time for our local CNN affiliate. In the wee hours of the morning, I had a foot cramp and had to get out of bed to put my weight on it. I could hear Mike jump down from something, run up the stairs, and jump onto the bed to cover the breaking news! Then when we were getting dressed, investigative reporter Gene got trapped in the closet. The Woman discovered the situation because Mike was on the scene of the disaster, staring at the door as he waited for the rescue party.
Shhhhhhh, Boys! Bigger things on the agenda than a British mystery. Woman needs to conserve her strength & get as much sleep as possible. Reports indicate that very soon she won’t have a full night’s sleep for nearly 20 years! ;-)
Wonder if Georgia has become as addicted to the British mystery movie of “Father Brown” as we have? The Brits have a way of comedy, mystery stories, & a past favorite “All creates great & Small”.
When I got up this morning, the notepad had been knocked onto the floor, so I rearranged the magnets again… with the notepad on the other side of the remaining magnets, by the edge of the fridge furthest from the counter. I may end up giving up on having it on the fridge at all.
After 9 (going on 10) years, this sudden upheaval among my fridge magnets is definitely caused by one of the cats… and not by one of the two that I have had for the last 9 or 10 years.
I’ll give more details later, but I wonder if any of the orbsters would know of someone in the Southern California Inland Empire who could adopt a healthy cat about 10 years old. You’re probably all swamped but I thought I’d ask.
I am heartbroken: today the Philadelphia Inquirer announced that they would be running three new comics starting Sunday…but NONE of them are BCN! Waaaaaaaaaaah! (For those who are interested, they are adding “Daddy Daze,” “Bizarro” and “Pardon My Planet”).
Hi everyone ….now that I’ve been hanging around here awhile I think I can ask for some good thoughts & vibes for myself.I suffer from some awful headaches .Painkillers aren’t doing much good :-( (I’m seeing a doctor already .I’ve had neurological trouble since I was born .) But taking too many painkillers would cause a BIG problem. So please send some good vibes thoughts etc my way ? Thanks!!Love & hugs!Katzi!

Oh no, Puck accidentally used his sleep magic on the Woman! Now she’ll never find out who did it!

That’s what my mother’s Shadow would do when my mother fell asleep and it was time to go to bed, pat her on the side of the face with a paw.

I think the woman is going to be more difficult to awaken than the man was.

Looks like the vicar is going to have to make do without the woman, and just have the cats watch out for him. lol

Puck’s going to have to break out his deerstalker hat, meerschaum pipe and magnifying glass and solve this mystery himself.
