I’d like to follow up my comment from yesterday with a question – is there an online venue where one can see the b&w version of this strip every day? Not that I want to abandon this fine forum of felicitous felony followers, but I’d like to see Joe’s original pen & ink artwork in addition to the colorized. It’s an entirely different aesthetic…
Is Pouch trying to look like a Tough Guy in panel 1 in order to fit in better with his client, Sawtooth (who really is a tough guy, though maybe not too smart)? In panel 2 we are among the balloons and see little else but park vista, balloons, and disembodied speech balloons (a clever bit of composition, IMO).
How long will Pouch remain squarely on the side of Anti-Tracy Advocacy?

Good morning™, balloon clusters !
The Pouch hasn’t looked this bad since his days as an active criminal. Does he start his day with “99”… ?

I thought Pouch was Tracy’s informant.

Considering the kind of luck most villains have facing Dick Tracy and co., you’d hope Pouch gets paid up front!

I wonder if Joe & Mike have ever considered bringing back Johnny Scorn?
